I tried to search to see if anyone else noticed this, but when checking out the Ajira airlines site, you can view a picture of their boarding pass.
It contains the same symbols that were on the countdown clock...
Excellent catch!!!!!!

Another great CLUE site set up by our friends from ABC.
Clearly, this is a VERY IMPORTANT forthcoming part of the show, and I suspect the way the O6 will eventually get back to the island.
How will they know to travel Ajira? Well, as Locke has been to the islands future, and knows that and Ajira flight crashed on the island, he was able to tell Jack & co to fly Ajira - all he needs to find out, is the date and flight that crashed...
Lostpedia seems to give answers to most of the clues....

there are also two of the trigrams from the Dharma symbol -- above center and shown on each side of center is a trigram of one broken line followed by two unbroken lines - symbol for 'valley'
below center is the reverse two unbroken lines and a broken line - symbol for 'wind'
together they form Hexagram #28
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/03/Iching-hexagram-28.svg/120px-Iching-hexagram-28.svg.png
the trigram above: TUI - The Joyous, Lake
the trigram below: SUN - The Gentle, Wind, Wood
from the Wilhelm/Baynes (http://ipac2.vpl.ca/ipac20/ipac.jsp?session=11541977QH1T1.3043&profile=pac&source=%7E%21horizon&view=items&uri=full=3100001%7E%21129546%7E%212&ri=8&aspect=subtab13&menu=search&ipp=20&spp=20&staffonly=&term=Wilhelm%2C+Richard%2C+1873-1930&index=AUTHOR&uindex=&aspect=subtab13&menu=search&ri=8#focus) version (highly recommended)
This hexagram consists of four strong lines inside and two weak lines outside. When the strong are outside and the weak inside, all is well and there is nothing out of balance, nothing extraordinary in the situation. Here, however, the opposite is the case. The hexagram represents a beam that is thick and heavy in the middle but too weak a the ends. This is a condition that cannot last; it must be changed, must pass, or misfortune will result.
THE JUDGEMENT
PREPONDERENCE OF THE GREAT.
The ridgepole sags to the breaking point.
It furthers one to have somewhere to go.
Success.
The weight of the great is excessive. The load is too heavy for the strength of the supports. The ridgepole, on which the whole roof rests, sags to the breaking point, because its supporting ends are too weak for the load they bear. It is an exceptional time and situation; therefore extraordinary measures are demanded. It is necessary to find a way of transition as quickly as possible, and to take action. This promises success. For although the strong element is in excess, it is in the middle, that is, at the center of gravity, so that the revolution is not to be feared. Nothing is to be achieved by forcible measures. The problem must be solved by gentle penetration to the meaning of the situation (as is suggested by the attribute of the inner trigram, SUN); then the change-over to other conditions will be successful. It demands real superiority; therefore the time when the great preponderates is a momentous time.
THE IMAGE
The lake rises above the trees:
The image of PREPONDERANCE OF THE GREAT.
Thus the superior man, when he stands alone,
Is unconcerned,
And if he has to renounced the world,
He is undaunted.
Extraordinary times when the great preponderates are like floodtimes when the lake rises over the treetops. But such conditions are temporary. The two trigrams indicate the attitude proper to such exceptional times: the symbol of the trigram Sun is the tree, the stands firm even through it stands alone, and the attribute of Tui is joyousness, which remains undaunted even if it must renounce the world.

ooops - okay - I won't be suprised. :D
As much as I read here - I rarely post, so I didn't think about posting it in another section.
So should I start a new thread regarding the other thing that's on there? (latitude and longitude coordinates?)
Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it, they just like to contain this stuff so people who don't want to come across non show stuff can live in harmony with those of us who seek out any source on the subject. :)

the degroots came from there.
the degroots came from there.
The DeGroot's were at the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor. While it is in Michigan, it is no where near Gaylord.
Was there some other information that said they were from Gaylord, the only thing I remember is the UofM remark.

To true my friend
If antipodes matter, Gaylord is directly southwest of Australia.

I don't know how you people notice such small details like the Whiskey brand Widmore drinks and the author. Seriously, how do you notice things like that? LOL
