Do you guys have suggestions for lost boards that are free as in beer ?

There's "the fuselage", although I believe that's the official website of the show - so I don't know if they're very restrictive of the message board.

Where do you get free beer, and how can I get in on that?

ABC has a message board for LOST too....I think it's free...at least to view the posts...I haven't registered yet so I can post messages...but just viewing their posts tonight...it looks like they have a lot of good ideas flowing on that board.
The "the fuselage" board is pretty cool.
The best things in life are free.

By far the best forum is the lost-forum.com. It is not the crappy EZboard, but instead the nice Vbulletin. They just moved to a new server and tonight it seems to be having problems (maybe all the people deserting this board). Anyway, they get a lot of traffic. And the forum categories make a lot more sense and cause a lot less double posting.
salem2005 & lhorg,
If y'all think the 'Fuse is so great, why are you here burning up bandwidth?
I'm sure TPTB would love to hear whatever it is you have to say.
salem,
I think you tried to push that whole "2000 versus 2009" think too hard. If it turns out that you're correct, I'll be the first in line to congratulate you. However, you just pushed too hard for that theory IMO. Yeah, I did read all of it! I did a search (an alien term for some) for your original idea and pics from that site don't hold much water here. Sorry.
Oh, and salem, by last recollection, the 'Fuse is free. They can afford stupidity, we can't. Thanks! ;)

Funny guys. We have the best Lost board around, and we have to work to keep it that way. We have to keep the cost down and the duplicate, wasteful threads down too. Stick with us. Only buy 1/2 a pizza tonight and spend the other 7 bucks on ezsupporter. If you can't afford that, find the thread in lostaways and ask for someone to buy ezsupporter for you. Let's keep this board the best around.
Any one of you dissenters care to pry yourselves away from this board long enough to do a Google search for "LOST message boards"? If you can, tell me what comes up second in that search. Don't worry, I'll save you the trouble, we (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=LOST+message+boards) do!
That other one that's listed before us, well, they do have a slight advantage considering they produce and air the show! That should mean something to you. If not, well, I don't know what else to tell you. Go there if you don't like it here. Pissy? Yeah. Bitchy? Probably. Realistic? Absolutely.
You have two choices here. Either you're part of the solution, or you're part of the problem. Sometimes it sucks to be faced with reality. Get used to it.

I haven't posted on the ABC site since last June and now all I get is an error message. My user name, password and all other forums work fine... just no Lost for me. I finally gave up asked a friend who loves Lost where they post, was led here and registered here. It only took me two days to see that this forum is the best one out there. I paid my 7 bucks.. come on people!

"We have the best Lost board around"
Probably not for much longer considering the non - "newbies" with seven bucks probably just pissed off the entire fan base that made this forum what it was.

"Go there if you don't like it here. Pissy? Yeah. Bitchy? Probably. Realistic? Absolutely. "
Do you see a problem with your logic? Let's say 10% of your user base actually pays and you lock everyone out and piss them off by being bitchy Pissy etc. You are going to loose 90% of your audience.
So, is it realistic? I'd say realistic is that you probably get what you asked for and have a board with 5 people slowly dying out.

Unless it's the RIGHT 5 people!

Typical response. And you wonder why you're getting bad mouthed here?

I opened up a free as a bird MSN message board last night as an alternative place for us losers to post at during our lockouts. All you need to do is sign up for a free net passport and join. It has a chat room and you can post pictures up to your given amount of storage space provided free by msn. I was only going to keep it up on Wednesday nights before I discovered how many paying members think we are crap for being upset about this. Besides, why keep making new boards each week. If I could view the General board, I'd go to the post the Mods made about the future of this board. In there I think they mentioned how very few members here actually pay for it. So nice to know that those are the only important ones.
As for you paying members who are coming in here bitching at us...why are you even in this section? Trolling for theories and clues so you can run back to the 'in crowd' and post it first? Go back and play with Jack and Kate and leave us redshirts alone.

this board has been around for a long time, why be so mean to the admins, but since we are throwing links out there! :P

I wish you all very happy in whatever board you wind up.
It does not occur to you that people put effort and in some cases money to run these boards do you? They do it as a favor and yet you have a sense of entitlement.

I love this Board and it is by far the best for content as whole but it also has alot of other things that make it less then desirable. Attitude and opressive cliqueyness.
I think your correct that lots of people don't understand that it costs money to run websites and forums but there has to be a better way then just shutting off access to those who may become paying customers based on the content.
The lost-fever board is one of the best i've saw. The moderators are not picky.
I had never saw such insane rules such as those on lost-tv board. Everyday differents thread/forums get locked.

Only redundant things get locked. And I'm glad they do.
Why should EZ supporters subsidize the cost for redundant posts? Ez supporter posts don't cost anything.

The free prizes are a bribe to get you over there, other than that there is nothing of interest on that board.

All I have to say is $7 for a full year. not $7 a month. And it's an established community, where people have gotten to know each other, and aren't afraid to meet someone new. I've never seen a poster from here go to another site asking for their members to come over here.
