The sweetest thing was when Rose put the Apollo candy bar in her pocket.....saving it for Bernard. She knows he's alive. *sniff*
^ I concur, although I rather liked the peanut butter scene with Charlie and Claire. Kind of gross that they put their fingers back into the jar after they already licked them. But when Charlie hugged Hurley, it reminded me of how sweet the imaginary peanut butter scene was in Season 1.

Me too. It reminded me exactly of the imaginary peanut butter jar Claire and Charlie were using.
The slow motion sequence of those events was stunning. The way Hurley slowly walked by Charlie and put the peanut butter in his hands was so incredible. TPTB sure know how to jerk a tear out of you. That did it for me.
And ending with Sarah putting away the Apolla bar. Sigh. Good one. Very good.

I was scared to death when Hurley brought the dynamite to the DharmaPantry. I thought he'd blow his FRIGGING FACE OFF!

I was suspicious of the food initially but after the big luau last night I think it's safe. They can't all get sick at once. It would totally blow the show! And I held my breath when Hurley had the dynamite. The boy was out of his mind. Glad it ended well.

we saw more skin in season one (ep 1 if I remember correctly) of her in her undies... that towel covered WAY too much up

Maybe I'm reading too much into this sharing of the food, but just they way they filmed it was soooo cool. You could actually see the joy on their face eating food that before was so common to them, now is such a delicacy. I started crying at that point (I'm such a sap) and then when Rose's husband was asking if she was alive, I lost it.
The actors did such a good job this week letting us feel their emotions.

My question is, why didn't they make a plan to have a few survivors take some of the food with them and explore the island - see how far they could walk in a week? What's up with that? Why isn't anyone curious as to what's out there? Surely 44 days is long enough to recover from shock and realize they have to discover more to survive better than they are?
