Ok, so the new update is out. From what I'm reading, the known updates include a fix for Safari, to get rid of the crashes. I've been seeing them lately, since I've been using my phone to browse the board more often, and I welcome any and all improvements there. When will we get Firefox for iPhone? The other fix is apparently to take care of the problem with images being saved to the camera roll from email. I thought I saw that one recently, but I'm not sure.

In other news, I'm about to create an iPhone forum.

So, anyway. If you notice any changes between iPhone 2.2 and iPhone 2.2.1, please post them here. It's very likely that Apple included changes that are not yet published, and it would be great to capture some of that data here.

Thanks for letting us know about the update! I'll plug in my phone tonight. :D I do hope it fixes the crashes with Safari, because that gets annoying.

Oh, and, YAY for iPhone forum! :D

I've noticed that when you sign in here and don't check "keep me logged in", I get crashes when I try to submit a post or send a PM.

If I do check it, no crashes.

At least it seems that way.

I was crashing a few times a day before the update. I have not crashed at all today.

I also picked up a carrier update after the upgrade. Maybe it's just my imagination, but my service seems stronger in areas that were petty weak before.

I didn't notice squat from my update from 2.2. to 2.2.1

Pretty disappointing update. As soon as I was done updating it that's when I jailbreaked for the 2.2.1 firmware because I was tired of missing features like MMS and landscape keyboard texting. And iBlacklist is pretty much the best thing ever.

Well, it's a possibility. Not only that, I'm also working on an iPhone optimized version of the site. Shhhh..... ;)

Finally! I view from work all the time and it takes forever for all the images to load before I can get to the threads I want. :(

I've been noticing that the iPod app doesn't seem to remember where it was at last. I usually just click the headset when I want to listen, and that's usually great, since it works through the available tracks alphabetically, but since the update, it startes from the first track every time. I have it set to remember and start where it left off, but that's not happeneing.

I'm working on it, and have a basic navigation scheme in mind (and some of it built), but I'm having trouble with forum displays. Without going into a lot of detail, there are software restrictions that occur as a result of the current site design. I'll keep you posted as I make progress.

I haven't noticed that about the ipod but you could be right.

And yay about the site!

Funny that I mentioned it, and today it was fine. My phone has been a little freaky the past few days, so maybe it's an application causing issues. I've noticed a couple app crashes, so maybe that's it. *shrug*
