I almost just bumped the "Christian is Jacob" thread, but I think there is more to it now. I don't see how Christian can be Jacob after telling John, "Say hello to my son." Of course, we don't really know who he was talking about since the flash came conveniently before he could answer, but the implication is that it was Jack. Is that how Locke finally convinces Jack? Does he see a picture of Jack and his dad in Jack's apt. and say, "Hey, that's the guy from the cabin, and by the way he had Claire with him"?
I think we can conclude that Christian has no corporeal body, since he told Locke he "can't" help him up.
So the big question is, was Christian speaking true that Locke himself was supposed to move the island? Or is Locke just being used in a larger war of supernatural island powers?
