Episode Description:

Kate goes to extreme measures to save Ben's life when Jack refuses to help. Meanwhile, Kate begins to tell the truth about the lie in order to protect Aaron.

A good eppy, not what I was hoping for given the title (I wanted me some DANIEL action! ;)), but still highly entertaining. Not quite "brain melting" material, but still, here are some scribbles from me:

- Lil Ben is still alive. Not surprised one bit. Good that they got right to it.

- FB to Kate and Aaron "Catch a Falling Star" - cool. :)

- Kate visits Cassidy and Clementine. So that's what Sawyer whispered to Kate on the chopper. Oooh big shocker there. :p

- and now Jack is called on to save Lil Ben but he says NO. Good for you Jack. It appears you might actually be growing a set. "Then he dies."

- "You got kids?" - NO replies Kate to Roger. So we'll find out what happened to Aaron in this eppy.

- "HA! Your theory is wrong!" :rotfl: :rotfl: HAHAHAHA That was GREAT!!!!!

- "Why wouldn't Ben remember Sayid?" - Hurley's askin the right questions. Finally learned from their past and just plain NOT asking questions. :p

- Juliet suggests the Others as a means to help Ben - little does she realize that that suggestion is what starts Ben on his course to being evil Ben.

- OMG AARON VANISHED!!!! Oh wait. April Fools on me, he didn't.

- Kate spills it all to Mrs. Littleton and gives up Aaron to her. Oh boo hoo for Kate. It woulda been cooler if Ghost Claire took him.

- Richard takes Lil Ben - he will forget everything (including getting shot by Sayid) - L.A.M.E.

- Ellie and Charles (Mrs Hawking and Charles Widmore) seem to be in places of power that Richard doesn't answer to though.

- Richard takes Ben to Smokie's Temple

- AH. LOCKE and BEN finally. I was really getting bored with all the Sawyer-Juliet-Jack-Kate stuff. "Welcome back to the land of the living" - and a good way to get things rolling again.

Next week looks like its gonna be a brain melter. :hyper:

Any other moms have a mini heart attack when Aaron was lost in the supermarket? Anyone else think that Richard carrying Ben into the Temple was super creepy, especially after that line about lost innocence?

I'm in the minority, but Good Gawd I love Kate episodes. She usually ends up going completely off the rails both in the present and in her flashback and ends up squashed flatter than a pancake for her lunacy. I've long considered Born to run as the best in-season episode it was so tightly wound.

That episode kicked Kate's character in an entirely different direction, as did this episode. The major difference tonight from her previous centrics was that, although she ended up squashed flatter than a pancake, she was more on the rails than she has ever been.

Stopping the charade of being Aaron's mother and going back to find Claire? Oh my, lostaway must have feinted at that revelation.They painted her in a good light tonight, probably for the first time in the series.

Of course, it was also entertaining that she was Ben's de facto, albeit short lived, surrogate mother in that episode. It all being made even more twisty that Roger maps so closely to Wayne, and even more twisted, Kate maps so closely to Ben. Yowza, what a tangled web.

Even her buttinski ways paid off, since her straight ahead manner led her to doing the right thing, which was trying to save a young boy. Which leads us to the whole time travel business, which I argue is really just fate vs free-will gussied up in a different guise. I still say free will is the correct path.

Of course the Triangle From Hell was a hoot.

Well, Jack has gone completely crackers now that he is waiting around for instructions from Locke's magic coconut tree. And poor Sawyer, his little love nest is wobbling apart on him.

I thought it was a pretty good episode.

I loved the scene between Hurley and Miles. I started loving it in the previous scene when Hurley went to the Back to the Future logic then loved it even more when they were debtating.

I was a bit surprised Kate and Cassidy established a firendship, just wasn't expecting it I guess.

The last scene was outstanding!!! Emerson and O'Quinn are both brilliant.

that was just a fun episode all around, Sawyer and Jin drunk, calling Charlie pipsqueak in his drunken stupor, Hurley having an uplifting moment then they all have fun in the van

Theres one clip in the bloopers of charlie goofing around.. looks like they all had fun filming that one, and perhaps they let em have a few drinks to get in the mood for filming lol

I mean, even though the stuff hasn't happened in 'present time' when they're in the past, once it happens, it becomes a memory to them??
