Myself and Enchirito are in the final stages of getting our LOST music video site up and running. The site will go live sometime in the next few days. We want to premiere it with as many great videos as we can. If you have a LOST Video (all characters and pairings are welcome) then please send it to lostvideoisland@yahoo.com and we'll get it added to the site for our premiere.

When you send the video to the e-mail include a short description of the video, what format it is in (ie WMV, DivX, AVI), the name you want listed as author, length, and character or character pairing it focuses on.

We can't wait to see the videos all of you have. We hope to make this a one stop video site for LOST fans and help people without webspace or small amounts of webspace to get there videos out. I purchased a large amoung of file space to cover all the videos but we do ask that you try and keep them under 10MB. If you can't help but have them larger then that contact us through the above e-mail and we'll work with you on that.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. As soon as we go live I'll post the address here for all of you to check it out.

I plan to make more out of context videos when I get some time. Right now all my free time is being taken up by just updating the site. Speaking of that...

Hi, sorry about not making any new videos lately. My computer finally had it with me and died. I'm in the process now of replacing my computer so sometime in the next week I will be back online.

I'm glad you guys love the site. Seeing the new videos and requests coming in is great. Keep the great videos coming. I'll let you guys know when I'm back online. Keep the requests coming and as soon as I get online again I'll get caught up on making videos.

Hi, just thought I would give you guys a quick update. I am back up and running on a limited use basis for a few days. Over the Thanksgiving holiday my computer is getting upgraded with a larger harddrive and a very cool DVD burner with some awesome editing software that I can't wait to use.

As soon as I get back up and running I'll get caught up on al the request videos. Just wanted to let everyone know I hadn't given up on making videos but my computer did so stick with me another week and I'll be back to making more. Until then Enchirito is in charge of the site and doing an amazing job keeping it updated. Keep the videos coming. The site is gaining strength everyday because of each and everyone of you. Please, if you come across any vides on other message boards or sites send them our way. We want to make finding LOST videos easy and simple.

Another update. Samaraman's Dare You To Move video is up. Also, there are 3 new Sawyer and Sawyer/Kate videos along with some other subtle site changes. I'm working on another out of context video and I'm sure lostcalier will have a bunch of new vids for us a few weeks from now. :)

A Loooong loong time ago I tried to download a vid that was entitled "gilligans island" and it was for lost.

But it didn't dl all the way and I hadn't the slightest idea where I dl'ed it from.

If anyone knows, I'd be GREATLY appreciative!!

I am *really* loving the video site! Great job! Only problem I'm having (and it's a doozy!) is the fact that I can only view videos that are in WMV format. The ones in AVI or DIVX only come in as audio only. :\ Such a bummer because I can just *tell* that Enchirito and everybody has some great stuff going on...I just can't SEE it! :eek

I had planned to create a vid or two myself but, I've got to say, I've been intimidated out of *that* idea after seeing what all you guys have up there! My poor computer is too RAM-impaired to handle video, so all of my previous vids are comprised of still pics that I've animated. My best efforts look awfully sad comparatively! :(

But at least I can still enjoy watching the WMVs you have up! Hopefully there will be a lot more of them in the one format I can see as well as hear! :rollin

Oh, and BTW, is it just me or has the Picture section on this site disappeared? I get an error message every time I try to go there. Just wondering... :\

Hi, well I do most of my videos in WMV format but that might be changing with my new editing software. What you can do to try and see and hear the videos is download some codecs. Problems with DivX ones are usually the lack of the Xvid codec which you can get from www.xvid.org . And for other videos you can try a mp43 codec which should cover other problems. You can search through Yahoo or Google to find that one. Those two shoud help solve a lot of your problems. If you have an older computer you might want to look into multi-spectrum codecs. You can search to find codecs that cover wide spectrums. Those suggestions should allow you to watch most if not all the videos on our site. Good luck. I'll try and put out all my videos in WMV and AVI so that everyone can see them but I'll have to see if that'll work. Hopefully the above will help solve your problem.

I think the problem with this site is that they ran out of bandwidth for the month so some of the functions of the site are unusable till they get back to there own server.

I should be back online making videos next week. My computer is fixed and working again so it's just a matter of getting back to my cable internet connection as opposed to my parents dial-up.

Okay, I know this sounds a bit "suck-uppy" and all :lol but I've gotta say to anybody who *hasn't* checked out Lost Video Island, you've got to give it a try. I've been recommending it like crazy to everybody I know!

And Enchirito... Dang, are you funny! Hope to see many more "Out of Context" vids. And the Inspector Gadget one absolutely made my day. I am *still* ROFLOL!!! :rollin

PS - And yes I *am* going to make a Lost vid of my own one day, despite the fact that I'm "low-tech" (do you guys look at "slideshow" style vids or should I save my time?) My computer would probably fry its poor brain if I asked it to handle actual video. That is, if I hadn't died of old age waiting for footage to download on my dial-up in the *first* place! :D I usually only have time to download one or two vids a night from LVI but they're always worth it! :b Bravo, bravo! :D
