Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Sun and Claire's son, Aaron - otherwise known as the Oceanic 6 - were rescued and tried and pick up the pieces of the lives they knew before the crash and perpetuate the lie concocted to hide the truth of what really happened. But Jack and Ben had to convince them to return to the island in order to save those left behind. Upon returning, Jack, Kate, Hurley and Sayid were reunited with their fellow survivors - but found themselves in 1977 Dharma times. But Sun and Ben were not transported back to the '70s. They landed back on the island in present time and discovered the fate of the other members. As for those left behind on the island after the Oceanic 6 departed, violent shifts through time were wreaking havoc on their lives. After Locke left the island under the guise of Jeremy Bentham to contact the 6, his actions helped end the time rifts, which left the survivors to fend for themselves in '70s Dharmaville. But Locke was murdered at the hands of Ben, who insisted on taking the body back to the island. Upon awakening after crash landing back on the isle, Ben discovered that Locke was very much alive. What are Locke's intentions now that he has returned and re-claimed his position as leader of "The Others?" And will Jack's decision to put a plan in action in order to set things right on the island be met with open arms or resistance by those close to him?

Is the 8pm Lost episode tonight (wed may 13) just a one hour clip show? It's also the season finale of 'Lie to Me' (another great show), and I don't want to miss that if all that is happening between 8 and 9 on Lost is yet another 1 hour filler episode. Cheers!

Yep. Sadly enough, yet another clip show.

I, for one, will NOT be watching it.

Yes... but ABC has announced that if you don't tune your TV into the 8pm clip show you will be locked out at 9 when the finale starts. My advice... put your tv on ABC now and leave it on!

I would personally blow up ABC headquarters if that ever happened. I doubt I would be alone either.

:rotfl: If a TV studio could ever do something that would directly result in an angry mob carrying torches and pitchforks... I think that would be it.

If this is the same crap re-hash from a few weeks ago, I will not be impressed.

I for one cannot understand the need for these awful clip shows.

1. if u r watching the finale u obviously watch on a regular basis & know what is going on already

2. As for the clip show a few weeks ago WTF!? No brand new watcher is going to jump onboard with only a few eps to go in the season. Lame

3. Note to TPTB-- Use clip show ONLY b4 1st ep in new season!!!! Or risk wrath of lost fans beaming their negative EM energy at u.:banghead:

I don't understand the reaction here. If the clip show is not preempting a new episode, why should we care? It's not like we're losing an hour of LOST. It's not even encroaching on the normal air time. If you don't like it, don't watch. What's the big deal?

I think part of the problem is that most of us forget that us "hardcore viewers" only make up a relatively small portion of the overall viewership of the show. So while it's easy to understand why we don't need these shows, it's also easy to understand why someone that doesn't visit LOST message boards at least several times a week would enjoy them.

I agree I just see it as having a full 3 hours of LOST.

Gotta say I didn't support the one a few weeks ago though "oceanic 816 from another view" pfftt

Meh, another clip show isn't a thrilling prospect, but at least there is still a 2 hours ep afterwards.
I will watch the clip show because I can't not watch LOST, even when it is drivel such as a clip show...
I too question why a recap is needed at the end of the season. Do they think there are a lot of people who are new to the series just tuning in now? I think the ratings pretty much prove that idea to be false.

I would have much preferred to see a 3 hour LOST tonight, that would have made me do a backflip or two

I will not be watching the clip show.

But I am all for ABC running it. This sort of programming costs them next to nothing yet they still get ad dollars. This makes Lost more profitable for them. I want shows that I like to be profitable so that they do more quality shows. So I encourage ABC to do everything possible to mine the Lost franchise as long as it does not interfere with the experience we diehards love.

I'm not totally adverse to clip shows, but it kind of makes sense to have one right before season premiere and one right before season finale - just to encompass everything from the season. We may look over every detail with a fine tooth comb, but the average viewer doesn't. Meh. I'm still watching at 8pm. :) How often do we get 3 hours of LOST? Seriously!

I heard that to save money in Season 6 all episodes are simply going to be recut versions of previous episodes...They will be new, but not new...:nanabobo:

OK, so our narrator for this clip show is none other then..... Ben Linus!

Is this the ultimate version of the unreliable narrator? Hey at least we're hearing from Darlton.

I love clip shows.. i have them all on my Lost Custom dvds...

I got alot of extras on them... clipshows, mobisodes, fan music videos, fan credit videos, fan trailers, Foxys SNL skit, Conan Obriens skit, and other Lost on TV moments.
Via Domus Trailers and making ofs, promotional pic slideshows, character slideshows, the works baby...

Most of them have 7 epis per dvd and disc 4 of each season includes all of that seasons extras.

the only thing missing is actor commentary from the real dvd sets, and the dvd sets bonus discs, but i have those sets anyways...

gotta collect em all...
