Hi everyone. Last night I was looking at an old editing project I did for a film class and I got inspired to do a Charlie/Claire music video since I hadn't seen any yet. The file is 66.83MB and in WMV format. The problem being I don't have a website to post it on. I would love to get it out there for all other Charlie/Claire shippers to enjoy so if anyone can help me out with what to do I would be very appreciative.

If anyone is willing to help me find a place to put this video I will create a music video for that person. Character pairing and song is the persons choice. Just a little incentive :D

That was a scene from "White Rabbit" near the end when Boone sneaks in and gives Claire the water. It's where Charlie gets all protective of Claire. In one bit Charlie even says "Claire could have died." I love that scene.

i'm justgetting an error that says "error downloading codec" and then it plays the audio but not the video.

I have so many codecs downloaded on my computer that I'm not sure what to suggest. You can try to get a mp43. That is a large codec that might help solve the problem. It's fixed my problems before when I've only been able to hear audio.

Try download.com and search for video codecs. You can also try for just a mp43 codec.

There is no way that if the music video is 66 MB would I be able to download it.That is way to big for my system.How is it that some videos I have downloaded for other things does it only take like 7MB or so.ANd it plays great.ANy way u can do it?I will be pissed if there is a Jack and Kate video and I cant see it.Good luck!

The full size video is 66MB but the one that is available for download is only around 7MB. I just had to shrink the size which just basically means teh picture got smaller from the version that I have on my computer. Any that go online will be 7-10MB.

I'm actually trying to make a video about Charlie and his drug addiction. All I'm really lacking from getting starte don it is a song so thanks for the suggestion. If I can track down a copy of the song I may just use it.

I'm waiting on doing any more Jack/Kate and Charlie/Claire videos till after "Confidence Man" because it looks like there will be good material to use from that episodes.

I just finished a new Charlie video. The person who is generously hosting them till I get a server of my own will have it posted sometime after noon. I've got ideas for individual ones for Kate, Jack, and Claire. If anyone knows any good Claire or Kate songs let me know (I'm not sure yet if I'll hold off on Claire's till "Raised By Another" or not...probably will though just to have more material to work with). I'm going to work on Jack's later on today. As soon as I have a link I'll post it and let you guys know. Thanks for the feedback you guys are giving, it's what will keep me making these videos.

I would really like to see a music video done with the song 'dare you to move' by switchfoot, that is an amazing song and I think that would be a great song just for lost, focusing on all the lost characters.

I do have plans for a video with "Dare You to Move" by Switchfoot. That is a great song so how could I not make a video with it.

I finished a new Jack video tonight. I'm going to try and see if I can get my very dedicated fellow LOST fanatic to host it again. I finally have a day off from work so I'm hoping to finally secure my own site. But as soon as I have an address for you to watch the video at I'll post it.

Thanks for all the replies you guys have been giving me. That is what is keeping the videos coming. As long as they have an audience to watch them I will keep creating them. I have endless ideas running around my head.

Keep the ideas coming and I will use as many of them as I possible can. The next video I've started on is with the song "Dare You To Move" by Switchfoot.

You can find the JK videos if you look through that sites updates section. It's a bit of a weird layout but you'll get the hang of it after a minute.

I'm glad you guys like the videos I make. It makes the time spent on them worth the while. Funny, I can sit in front of my computer for hours on end editing things but I can't get the hang of HTML, does anyone else find that odd? :\

Anyway, I am sticking to what I have been saying. As long as my videos have an audience I'll keep making them. I have an endless array of ideas so keep your ideas coming because everytime I read another post I get ideas for another video.

Well LOST fans in the not so far future myself and Enchirito will be opening a LOST Video site. All I can tell you guys is to start thinking up those LOST Video ideas and if you don't have the means to make them let me know and I'll make them for you, but if you do have the means to make them then you'll have a home for them. Every character video, pairing video, and LOST video will have a home there. So I hope all of you will stop by and check it out when we get it open. I'l be sure to post the link as soon as it's ready to go.

If the videos are in a .zip extenstion, you'll need a program to unzip them, if you don't have one already on your computer.

I would recommend WinZip (http://winzip.com).

I'm glad you guys continue to enjoy my videos. There are two new ones that I am hoping to premiere on the website but if things end up taking longer then expected I'll find a way to get them out there for all of you to see. One is Jack/Kate/Sawyer from Kate's POV and the other includes all the crash survivors.

I wish I could take all the credit for pairing the ideas with the songs but the songs actually pick the clips. If I'm listening to a song and can imagine a certain character or pairing then I let the words decide what clips I use.

I am definitely still taking suggestions and requests. Several of the 5 videos I've made have come from suggestions from here. Keep the ideas coming, keep watching, and I'll keep making.

I get my LOST episodes off of BitTorrent which is a filesharing program.

You can get the download tool from:

I decided to join up in part because I wanted to be able to tell you how much I LOVE your Jack/Kate/Sawyer video! I was so thrilled to see it, especially since it include The Kiss which I *missed* thanks to the fact that my VCR cut off 20 minutes into the episode! (Talk about being crushed! :x Of course, some good did come out of it... While looking for sites with episode guides so I could find out what I missed, I stumbled upon this site! :D )

Anyway, I love making song videos, too (all Lord of the Rings ones so far). I'd love to know what programs you're using, if you don't mind saying. I haven't ever tried to incorporate actual video before, just still pics I "prep" in various ways with PaintShop Pro, then send to Animation Shop, then finally run through Windows Movie Maker.

I'm so looking forward to seeing your other vids as well but since I'm also on dial-up like some of the others, it's slooooow going. But very well worth it! Thanks for sharing your talent and creativity! :)

I use Windows Movie Maker 2 for making my vids. It usually comes standard with Windows XP, or it can be downloaded from Microsoft's website. But an older version (1 or 1 1/2) will work also. :)

Yep, Windows Movie Maker is a cool thing (especially since it's free! :D )! Only problem I have is that my RAM is a bit too small to handle too much in the way of picture or audio editing, much less straight-up video. *But* I'm thankful for what I have (and maybe I'll get more RAM one day!). Until then, I just look at it as a creativity challenge, making me figure out RAM-saving ways to come up with song vids and things like that!

And I *do* plan on doing a "Lost" vid myself one of these days. I've just started collecting pics and am waiting to see what inspiration strikes for the song... Hm... :D

Also does anyone know where I could get clips from Lost? I would love to make some music vids but the only way to get the clips onto my computer is to download the episodes which take forever on a 56k modem. Thanks.
