I voted for S4 Dew but I'm easy :D I would rewatch anything with Sawyer in it :) Actually my daughters juust finished S1 and now she's on to S2 so we've been talking about it, and I got quite nostalgic *sigh*
I don't think I could go through all of the seasons again. Since I don't slice and dice the episodes, I am content with just the previous and current seasons. :)

Season 1- 22 episodes (counting the pilot as one, and the finale as one)
Season 2- 23 episodes
Season 3- 22 episodes
Season 4- 12 episodes (counting the finale as one)
Season 5- 16 episodes (counting the finale as one)

Now, how long until the next season? Usually airs end of January. Let's say we're ending on the second week of January.

Say we're starting on the first week of June. That makes 31 weeks until the new year, add two in January, total of 33 weeks.

Roughly 2.87 episodes a week. I reckon I'd round it up to 3 episodes a week, in order to be able to miss a week for Christmas.
Wow, Vonne - thats great - now that oughta take care of this hiatus ! We did one session where we were doing 3 episodes a week I think. And that was OK - obviously not everyone will be able to join in every ep, or chose to - each to his own ! I can think of at least one I won't be bothering with. It starts with "Stranger" and ends with "land". Bet you can't guess what it is !

Hahaha, thw "hard work" wasn't really that hard, considering I did it with one hand, the other arm busy holding the aforementioned beautiful Emma :D (the computer chair is the only one that rocks, so we spend a LOT of time that way, haha).
I just reckon it's the last hiatus, I want to be totally refreshed and ready for anything that may pop up in the final season.

For me personally, there is no way in Hell that I will be able to watch 3 episodes a week. I will probably watch S1, and then I want to watch S4 and 5, so I can have time for those seasons and time for my work here.

If the rumors can be trusted, and really, when can they, we may actually have until February to finish. Allegedly they really do want to run the final season without breaks. In order to do that and still have a May sweeps end date, they won't be able to start until February. Of course nothing is confirmed, but that's the rumor I'm hearing lately. I would still plan for a January S6 start though just in case.

I just did seasons 1-4 during last hiatus on my own. I can't do it again so soon. But I'll join in when you get to S5 on your schedule. Hopefully by then the whole season will be up on Hulu.

The revelation / game changer that Jacob brought everyone to the island (assumption) will completely change the way we watch these episodes again i'm pretty sure of that.
All the connections and co-incidences will have different meanings i'm feel.
Being as JJ said he always knew how LOST would end right from the initial storyboard, you'd have to assume everything was programmed for that eventuality.

Duh, I voted wrong. I want watch the whole thing again, too. So I should have voted to start with Season 1.
I just made a new list of episodes for myself, and there are a neat 100 episodes, if I left out the clip shows. And since I like making tables, I made one of the weeks remaining until the end of January 2010 - there are 34. So, if we really do all watch the entire series, we might want to plan on doing three a week for some weeks, and maybe doing a slow down in mid-November early January to help ease holiday stress.
Or maybe I'll just say the heck with it and do a marathon in January. :D

As you guys may know, I don't like to discuss the show in depth & hack apart the minute details (takes away from the entertainment value, but that's just for me personally). But I definitely want to re-watch the series, and doing it with a group, I do think it will be fun/neat to share a little comment here & there. :)
I think the only downfall may be if I go marathon-crazy and get way ahead. :p But that's still ok b/c I can post in the threads when they do arise.

I'm a purist (about some things!) -- I say start at 01:01 and go through 'em in order.
I don't think we should skip any either. I have this theory that the least-liked "boring" episodes contain information/clues about which we just did not have enough background to properly interpret at the time. I've already mentioned in several threads, how prescient Fire+Water (very low viewer rating) turned out to be, in retrospect, after the season 3 finale...and as much as I hate to say it, I think Stranger/Land may hold secrets as well -- as difficult as that seemingly vapid epi can be to watch (at least, I'd like to believe there's more to it than meets the eye). There's no reason, imho, for even filler epis to lack important clues. The problem is, I think, that it is far too easy to get distracted by the story lines and let them skew our perceptions. Thus, our least-favorite epis receive less attention and just maybe, knowing the impishness of D+C, they are the very epis which should be dissected most vigorously!

I'm another who wants to rewatch every episode before the start of season 6. It's our last hiatus, after all.
I made a post some posts back figuring that to be around 3 episodes a week, starting 1st week of June -- i did count finales, and the pilot 1 and 2, as one episode, though (as in, the first week you're watching Pilot 1 and 2, and then the next two episodes). So don't trust my math. But that also figures in a week and a half off, approx, for the holidays (cause I know I can usually squeeze three episodes of TV in during any week, except for Christmas week).
People should never trust my math anyway.
But yeah, if we're going to go all the way and rewatch all seasons in order, I'm all for it-- planning on doing it on my own regardless, but would be cool to do it with ya'll.

So, yes, we're going to schedule all of the episodes in. You can watch the episodes anyway you want or can. I won't be able to keep to the schedule perfectly, but I LOVE rewatching with everyone. You're going to have SO much fun doing it. I can't even explain it, but I will say that everyone I've rewatched with over the years are still really close friends, and that's another bonus!
We will be watching 3 episodes per week from a schedule, but yes...if you feel like marathoning, go for it. All of the threads already exist. Feel free to post away, and I promise someone will be by to post with you, or chat in the chat thread. No one will complain if you miss a week or any episodes, and it always has been a great place to hideout too.
We get together in chat from time to time too, and that's always fun, no matter what. Since it is our very last hiatus (thanks for reminding me, Vonne. ;)) I agree completely that we should take the opportunity and rewatch everything one more time, discuss the shows together, and go all out and have a blast hanging out together. Except for Brian, because he's pretty stuck with me for life. ;)

I'm still working it out, but yeah, there's going to be a schedule...like Dew said, (Thanks btw!) The current threads will be stickied and we run them for a week and change them out, etc. Sure, start posting your thoughts whenever the mood strikes you. You will get the vibe down quickly, and it's a lot of fun. We have a blast over here. :D
I won't be joining in on scheduled re-watches, but i've re-watched every ep to death and still random re-watch 3-7 eps a week anyway. I know, i'm sick. I will at least lurk the threads and maybe kick in :twocents: here and there. :)
