I think it'll be quite appropriate for the Baby to be named in tribute to Boone... however, that's only if the baby was named with the show in mind.

On the other hand, I don't remember Claire and Boone ever conversing with each other much on the island like we saw with Claire and Charlie, Kate and Jack/Sawyer, etc.

The only time I remember Boone and Claire related was when Locke and Boone went to look for Claire after she got kidnapped. (Someone remind me if this isn't true...)

I think it might be a name trying to incorporate a few different other character's names :D

I said if the writers were focusing on the ENTIRE show, the baby would be named Boone... but it's pretty assuring that there are multiple writers focusing on different aspects of this crazy puzzle so...

I really hope it won't be Charlie or Boone. I don't think Claire and Boone were that good friends that she'd name her baby after him. If Locke were pregnant (there's a sentence I never thought I'd say) or Shannon or even Kate, then it could be possible.

I hope it's something wild and unique but I have a bad feeling it'll be something like Freedom or Peanut or any name that symbolises the island or something. Anything. I don't know what I'm talking about. :) I just hope it's not Boone or Charlie.

In Raised by Another (Ep. 10), was there ZERO mention of what Claire and/or her (ex)boyfriend wanted to name the kid? I mean, I forget that episode... it was so long ago and I can't find the tape of it I had; but there had to have been mention of Claire and someone else throwing out ideas?

Yeah, I dont remember any mention of them picking out a name. Michael and his gf talked about Walt but not Claire and her bf. I'm sure we'll find out in the next episode.

Aaron means exalted one--it is my 34 year old son's name.
Is Charlie's middle name Aaron?
What is the signifigance besides that Moses's brother was named Aaron and helped lead the people out of the promised land?

I have a feeling that we are going to find out that Aaron is the name of Claire's father.

It could turn out to be Charlies middle name too - did you notice his expression when Claire called the baby Aaron? - but I don't think that Claire would have known that. It could be one more of the sort of freaky character connections we keep seeing.

I think Aaron will be Charlie's middle name. Charlie at one time had the manifest with passenger names or she could have seen his passport.
