View Full Version : Lamp in Claire's dream
I don't know if this is anything important but, did anyone else notice that the lamp in Claire's dream is the same lamp that was at the psychic's place?

Interesting...I don't know what it means though. Maybe the prop people wanted to be cheap and just used the same lamp they already had on hand?

I think it was intentional, a symbol used to tie both the Psychic and Locke and the visionary roles roles they both play.

Mealuder - I agree with you. In her dream, Claire seemed to be identifying Locke with her psychic, and I think that's what the point is. Now, I'm not saying the Locke is psychic. I'm just saying Claire was making a connection of some sort in her dream.
But I'm glad somebody finally got a thread started about this. I've been wondering about it since the show originally aired. BTW, my first thought when I saw that scene was, "I wonder where she thinks Locke is getting the electricity for that lamp???" :b hee, hee!

There's a thread in props already open in General Discussions, as well as another thread in Claire's forum. Use the search feature or read the thread names in the back pages.
Locking this one now.
