There is a new ABC (House) promo making its rounds online featuring Patrick Dempsey, playing Foosball with Ed O' Neill, Courtney Cox & Dominic Monaghan.

There has been a few articles out there discussing the contents of this promo. Where Patrick Dempsey says to Dom (in reference to the game) "You are so dead". In response, Dom says "Actually I was...".

There has been some speculation as to whether or not he's talking about LOST or not. Some sources say he's appearing on Flash-Forward. But then you have his publicist making comments like "He may or may not be returning to Lost. Viewers will just have to stay tuned."

He may or may not be on Flash-Forward but I believe without a doubt he's returning to LOST. Not as a regular but for a few episodes through out. Same goes for anyone else they want back. Boone. Shannon. Ana-Lucia. etc.

My theory: Juliet did changed the past. Literally. She changed the outside world. Because of the island being outside of space and time, the island is not effected so our Losties remain as they are.

The first glimpse of this reality was Locke's vision back in season 3's "Further Instructions" episode. This showed us a vision where a few of our Losties were at the airport. Charlie and Claire were together. Kate and Sawyer together. Hurley and Ben working as employee's. Sun more dominant over Jin. Jack by himself. I actually believe he was still with his ex-wife in this reality.

Every vision and dream has come true to some extent on this show. I believe Locke's vision is no different. If you notice their clothing, it is the opposite of what they were wearing in the first reality. Jack is now sporting a dark purple shirt as opposed to white. Kate is now wearing black as opposed to white etc. We know that glack/white light/dark ying/yang is a recurring theme on the show. Esp. at the end of season 5.

Season 6 will show the alternate reality through our remaining cast aways flash-BACKS. We will see Jack still with his ex-wife. Charlie and Claire together. Kate and Sawyer together etc. On-island, Kate will choose Jack and spend the remainder of the season with him. So Jate and Skate fans will both get their fix in the final season. Claire will return. How - I don't know. Jack will tell her they're related etc.

We will find out the alternate flash-backs take place pre-crash. So the very end of LOST will show the alternate Losties boarding the plane with Desmond as the pilot...

On-island, I believe Kate will choose Sawyer in the very end and she will stay on the island with him and end up being Adam and Eve. The rest of the Lost aways, Desmond and whomever will leave the island once and for all. They will enter the alternate world where Jack has a better relationship with his father. Where his ex-wife is still with him. And where Claire can be reunited with Aaron.

But not before they enter the terrible time shift clouds where Desmond experienced the conscious time travel on the way to the freighter back in season 4. This will send Desmonds mind to the Alternate reality where Desmond is the pilot... Desmond will believe he can change everything once and for all by changing the course towards the Sunda Trench.

Because of the Sunda Trench being a hot spot to the island, this is where the two realities would mix and for a brief time there would be two planes existing in time and space. Course correction takes place by crashing the alternate 815 plane into the OCEAN (Sunda Trench) while at the same time, our Losties plane gets sent to the island. Upon impact to the ocean, the plane severs in three locations. At the same time, this is when our Losties plane splits in 3 sections in mid air. Cause and effect.

Most of the Losties will return for the epic drowning scene that will fade to black. Then we will get someone's eye and this person will be waking up in the jungle but it won't be Jack this time. It will be someone else.

According to Ausiello (http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/06/lost-charlie-mystery-solved.html#more) it isn't LOST that Dom is going to be on. Then again, even if it were, they wouldn't let it out this early (at least they'd try not to). I wouldn't mind seeing Charlie back, at least some, in season 6.

Yea, I read that. The link I posted had Ausiello not saying which show he was returning to because ABC wanted it a secret. But now he says it's not LOST. So that makes it obvious now. I know he's joining another show (possibly Flash-forward) but that still doesn't mean he can't guest star on LOST. Flash-forward and LOST are both ABC shows. If my theory has any truth to it, he can film Flash-forward and film a few episodes of LOST simultaneously. He doesn't have to go to Australia to film. Same with Emily de Ravin. She can shoot scenes with Dom before she hops on a plane to Australia or however they do it.

Just a thought.

If he is coming back to LOST, even to guest star, it's not going to stay a secret for long. :)
