I saw that MC Gainey who played Tom aka Mr. Friendly did an interview with Starpulse (http://www.starpulse.com/news/index.php/2009/09/02/qaamp_a_m_c_gainey_talks_about_working_w)and in it he mentions that he was busy filming a little show in Hawaii.

Tom! He is on so many tv shows lately, even repeats, good actor for sure.

Nice interview. Gainey and Cuse go way back, to the days of Brisco County Jr., so it's not surprising that Cuse might have told him how it ends.
