Chicago was, shockingly, the first city out of the running, followed by Tokyo. It was down to Madrid and Rio de Janeiro in the last round, and Rio won.

Whaddya think? I think I better plan a trip to Rio in 2016 as early as now! :D

I'm disappointed, but am okay with the Rio pick. I don't think South America has ever hosted the games and that has to count for something.

I'm glad they won't be in Chi. That's all I have to say.

I don't need a visa to get into Brazil! That's a relief. :D Maybe this can be the first Olympics I can actually watch.

Meanwhile, I have seven years to lose weight and get buff so I can fit in with all the gorgeous Brazilians walking around in speedos at Copacobana Beach. :p

So much for President Obama's worlwide diplomacy. I am off to MyPolitics Forum to call for worldwide tariffs and cessation of using India for our phone services.
