Who caught the worst beatdown this past Sunday?

The Titans caught their beatdown from the Pats. 59-0. Ouch.

The Dodgers caught their beatdown from the Phils. 11-0. Ouch.

Let's compare the two: 59 might seem like more to lose by than 11 but that's two different sports. 11 TDs would have been 77. But then again, I'd say it's easier to score 11 runs in baseball than it is to score 11 TDs in football. The Titans were expected to do well this year and have stunk it up. The Dodgers, on the other hand, are actually good this year and are in the playoffs, which is where they received their beatdown; Titans caught their's in the regular season. Both beatdowns were delivered by the home team, so road advantage/disadvantage doesn't play a factor in this poll.

The Titans only get one shot at their beatdown from the Pats but the Dodgers still get to play the Phils again as a part of their series. I'd like to not have that a part of the equation. I'd rather base this off the single game performance.

So, which one of these two beatdowns stings the worst?

Titans.

An 11 run outburst is not a big deal in baseball, happens all the time, and it's not an indicator of a bad team. Likewise getting shut out only means that the opposing pitcher was on his game. In baseball you learn to have a short memory...the Dodgers can easily turn around and win the next game. You see it all the time during the regular season.

Football on the other hand, a scoreline like that is an indicator of a good team meeting a bad team on a day when everything went right for the good team. Is it time for someone to say that Jeff Fisher has overstayed his days there, considering IIRC, that he was originally hired to be the head coach of the Houston Oilers.

Yup I am with the Titans game. OMG they were simply horrible. Kerry Collins 1 for 11 what a joke.

I mentioned to my buddy before the game that the weather reminded me of last year's Arizona game. The Cards came in and laid a similiar, albeit less :poop:-smelling, egg. Some teams just don't want that weather, especially this early in the year. And THAT is why Kraft didn't build a dome (his words exactly).

I think the Titans are beat up both emotionally & phyically this year.
This game showed a team that has just given up.
Got a shot at tying Detroit's infamous record. ;)

Why are the Titans so bad this season?

They were good a couple of years ago, weren't they?

They went 13-3 last year and won their division.

Worse beat down for this week the Bears (45-10) or the Raiders (38-0)
