On a side note, I've been looking for robots.txt files on the official Lost sites. When I told my compter genius friend at work that I was looking for clues on websites he told me to try looking at the robots.txt files. The robot.txt file is a list of places on the website that search engines are not allowed to index. To look at the index, just add "robots.txt" after the address. For example, to see the list of places Google doesn't want people to index, type in: http://www.google.com/robots.txt
To see what Ford doesn't want indexed, type in: http://www.ford.com/robots.txt

Unfortunately, none of the official Lost sites I've tried seem to have a robots.txt yet. :(

I used to think the biggest problem was the dryer in the Hatch (creates a LOT more electrostatic discharge than a hairbrush). Now, however, I'm wondering if the Hatch isn't intentionally designed to block out em waves from the outside. In addition to the dryer, the geodesic dome that houses the computer likely acts like a faraday cage.

The satellite is also a problem. As others have noted, since the timer resets any time the code is entered in the last four minutes, this should lead to a massive offset of the satellite over time.

NB: The anti-ultimate theory unnecessarily spoils Watchmen.

I found this site the other day (http://lost.wikicities.com) and thought it was really cool. It has character bios for EVERY character complete with pics for EVERY character (They have somewhere like 200 pages just for characters), a timeline, connections, episode guides, and other stuff.

I thought it would be cool for you guys since you know so much about the show and could add a lot to it since anyone can edit it.
