It was a shame to see that the female who would die was Shannon...

I don't know abouthe rest of you but Claire is getting weak and when she says the word "Baby" it make s me cringe!

I do believe they are setting us up for the fact that there will be no relationship between Claire and Charlie, IMHO. He was interested in Claire as long as she was helpless. Now his only interest in this triad is the baby, so that will be subplot as develops.
