Walt's luck

We may be back on the good-versus-evil train here, but there was Walt playing his white pieces on the backgammon board, rolling the exact roll he needed time and time again, and explaining that his dad told him he had the best luck. And there was Hurley, unable to get those black pieces of his on the board.
We really need to know more about Walt.

hmmmm. Black and white game pieces, black and white rocks in Adam's bag, black can't win while white has phenomenal luck. Make's you wonder, is it because of Walt, or some other explanation.
