What characters do you think we need to keep an eye on because they may bite it soon? My list is as follows, from least likely to most likely.

4. Hurley- Who is he? Where is he from? We know squat. Is he just fodder?

3. Micheal- He has no skills and keeps getting hurt. Jin and Sun could become Walt's new parents.

2. Jin- On the flip side, he has only treated Sun poorly, by American standards, and there was been Micheal/Sun foreshadowing. Could a confrontation result in his death?

1. Claire- Someone play taps, this lady is toast. She has no story besides the fact that she's the pregnant lady. Furthermore, she's now passing out and everyone is attempting to take care of her.

3: Jin -- I think he might be forced to leave the group, maybe not die, per se, but still not be around.

2. Claire -- She will be gone by the end of the first season, no doubt. She'll hang on, have her baby, then get an infection and die or something.

1. Rose -- I think she'll be the first to go, and soon, too.

I still stand on that.

Pregnant woman, Locke, Rose, and whoever else I forgot

But Id say Rose totally screams out "next to die"
I wouldnt be surprised if Locke dies, he seems satisfied with his situation and ready to die.
Pregnant woman, probably will give birth and die, or both die, but that would be horrible for a TV program.

Well, you're no Sawyer, I can say that.

I think we will loose the nameless/faceless characters first. Of the main players - I see Claire or Charlie joining the dearly departed first. Claire either in child-birth or Charlie in a drug induced or lack thereof realted incident.

Someone else in another thread brought up a very good point that I had been thinking about every since this stuff with Clarie being killed off. Originally (and if you look at the early promotional pictures it proves it because she wasn't in them) they were just going with 13 cast members. Emilie (Claire) was just supposed to be on as a recurring character. In that case despite how much I like Emilie's acting I would have agreed she would die in child birth or worse. But they were impressed enough by her that they signed her as a regular cast member. You don't do that if you plan on killing off a character in 10 episodes or less. I would actually say for that very reason she is the safest of all the cast. I'm studying Media Studies in college so I know how much goes into contracts and what not. Once they decided to make Emilie a regular her agent would have stepped in and negotiated the terms of her being on the show.

In all reality I think Claire is the safest of all the characters for the simple fact that she was the last official cast member named. I would even bet that in her own mind she was a recurring character throughout the filming of the pilot. From wht I've heard the offer came up after they saw her in the pilot episode and JJ and the team had ideas for the continuation of the character.

Besides I think Clarie is hiding a lot more then she is letting on. Look at Kate, she seems nice but we all know she is a criminal for something. "Raised by Another" should answer a lot of the questions about Claire and hopefully see her and the baby come through safely.

Of all the characters we have names for so far I'd say Rose is the most likely to die since we basically know nothing about her.

Here's to hoping that Emilie is on the show for a long time to come.
