Have you ever been engrossed in chat, email, or any typing task, and suddenly realized that, unawares, you were typing fairly well without looking at the keys!? Then, having this awareness, you try to deliberately type without looking at the keys and find you can't do it anymore?
All the time. When someone is watching me at work while I am typing. I get butter fingers. Oh I hate that.

SAME HERE!!!

When no-ones watching i can get a pretty good speed up and be accurate. As soon as i have to show someone something or i sense someone watching over my shoulder i cant do it!!!
I type about 2 words a minute under pressure

Not really. But I know what you mean. I've never taken any typing classes or anything like that.

I can type no problem without looking at the keyboard. I'm actually doing it right now.:)

Sometimes, but I'm not really a hunt-n-peck person. But alot of time I have to look at the keys or I mess up.

I took a typing class in high school but that was like a million years ago. I don't look at the keys when I type, I have the position of the keys down, but I still flub up a lot. The backspace key is my best friend.

Kinda. I never took typing classes but I grew up in this computer age, so I learned at an early age :) . But I do make a lot of typos!

Yeah, me and the backspace key have a special bond. Does anyone else delete the whole word to go back and fix it when the realize they made a mistake?
Because I do it all the time even though I know it's dumb! Sometimes I'll realize a made a mistake at the beginning of a sentence and I'll delete all of the sentence to go back and fix it! :lol

If i really fell about a subject on here or really want to get a point across i can type like 50 words a min without looking at the keyboard. Then i post it. What generally happens then is i read it back and its asif i have been possessed by an illiterate 4 year old!!

I never look at the keys to type, I also hold a record for speed-typing....in my city :D
