I cannot turn off "email me notification" setting

I replied to a VERY active thread and made the mistake of checking the "email me notification of all replies to this topic" box. After getting about 25 emails in ten minutes, I want to turn this setting off. But can't. I went back and edited my post, so that the box is now unchecked, but I still get mails.

Johnnotlocke, check the global settings under My Control Center. See if there's a setting you may have to uncheck. If the problem persists, please repost and we'll see about a fix.
