I am sure this has been discussed before, but I am pretty new here and don't have the patience to sift through all the posts...
So let's see...I am a cast member of this show that becomes famous and has a cult following. I have never been famous before...maybe done a bit of acting here and there, maybe some modeling, maybe been a comedian. It's late one night, I'm drunk after coming home from a late night, so I decide to see what people are saying about my show...
Do you think "they" lurk or even post here? I would!!!:rollin

Well, if this whom I think you are talking about, that person would probably not like what has been said! But those are the breaks for someone leaving modeling and entering screen entertainment. Particularly in the age of instant communication. If anybody from the show reads the various sites, they are either laughing hysterically (hell, I do all the time) or are concerned that the writers will have to work extra hard to be original. Again welcome to instant communication.

Definitely! And not just when theyre drunk, but a lot of time I'm sure. If everyone is like "If they kill of another person this season I will stop watching," I have a feeling they wouldn't kill anyone...

I think they are too busy and probably don't want to think about Lost in their free time.

^ True, but they probably have hired people who do that sometimes.
DiggingLost,
Oh, I'd be an idiot to say they don't lurk. I'm quite sure they do even if they do have lives to live outside of LOST. We're one of, if not the highest, rated un-official site for LOST.
Now, do they post? If they do, it's completely anonymously and they'd go through every effort to never, ever come across as someone associated with the show. Why do I say that? Because, I believe it was back before the ezCrash, hell, quite possibly back around the time this board started that someone was posting here that was associated with the show. In what faction, we don't know (or I just don't remember). It's been awhile.
Anyway, the reason I even mention that is because once that person was "outed" to TPTB, they were (if I remember correctly) possibly threatened with their job. Again, I don't remember if it was one of the actors/actresses or just a production person and everything I mention is heresay to say the least. It could have been a hoax ala OSD. (<--I realize that you may not understand the meaning of "OSD", but if you do a search for "OldScooterDude", I think you'll find enough to understand my mentioning of it.) We'll never know for sure whether anyone associated with the show posts here or not, if they do, they're never going to admit to it here nor anywhere else. We do know that TPTB, or at least their underlings, do read this site, that's been well established. Whether they post or not is a question we'll likely never know the answer to until LOST has it's finale.

I'm hoping the name Capt Gorton finds its way into the show in some subtle way. (yellow slickers, name variations, etc.)
Why I say this, is I don't know if any of them read here, have the time to read here - or they only go to their official site. But just incase they do.... I try to jump on board at least one inane idea and perpetuate it to death - just to see if it will get a wink. Next season I'm placing my hopes and bets on Capt. Gorton.

I agree. The sign may be blatant like a box of fish sticks washing up on shore. Or it may be more subtle like one of the fishermen redshirts having the name of Gordon. Or it may be a flash of yellow appearing for no good reason. Keep your eyes open. Dont fall asleep.

You're way ahead of me on avatars and sigs. In that field I am the slow one!

KF2, you gotta help Boonian out.

I think that KF2's response was to the threadwriter's original premise, not to my slow adaptation to the modern era. Drabauer has indicated that she will help me out. It will all happen, I predict, by season 2's opening day. By the way KF2 I already miss your quadruple Jack motif, but Mr. Pitt proves a reasonable substitute.

Yes, Brat Pitt is hot, so I don't mind seeing him, but I'll miss the 4 Foxys...:D

:lol Yes, that's what my "No." was in response to. I'll help anyone with an avatar or sig if I can whenever they want me to, just ask! It's no problem.
OT reply: Brad Pitt makes me weak in the knees. :]

Yes, Brad Pitt is quite admirable. But the 4 Jacks fit in so well with one of my theories! Both are good. And from the cast and crew of LCA, thanks for the general offer.

Ok, we are closing in on a first draft concept.
