So, this is just for fun; and to help add a little depth to our Usernames. What high school stereotype were you? Maybe the bitchy prom queen, the dumb jock, the funny nerd, the hippie... I dont know just spill it!

A strange cross between a college prep (inamorate of foreign languages) and post 60's hippie political type. In fact I came out in high school. And in college. And at work. And here...

Heh, that's funny SHBL.
I was guiarist and lead singer in a punk band. Not politcal, more like The Ramones. We did a good cover of Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs "Little Red Riding Hood" I'd go to school, get out, go to baseball practice, get out of baseball practice, and go straight to band rehearsal. Or, in the winter, substitute play practice for baseball practice.
Lostaboutlost,
What high school stereotype were you?
Hmmm......ever hated that person who blew the "bell curve"? Yeah, that was me. I never did it on purpose, just one of those things. Never really fit into any nice and neat politically correct package stereotype, kind of all over the place like MLHTY. You name it, I did it as far as activities go/went. :)
Here's one that'll make you laugh. I was the first guy in my high school to earn a Varsity letter for cheerleading! :) Yes, I'm serious. I'll scan the letter and post it if I have to. How did I do this? Well, in my Junior/Senior year, my high school purchased one of those mascot outfits that pretty much only a guy could wear and I volunteered to do it. I found out afterward that it was part of the cheerleading program and all the work I did at football, baseball, softball, soccer, etc games translated into a Varsity letter. The upside was riding in the bus with the cheerleaders rather the sweaty sports guys! :lol And the jocks actually made fun of me for that. Idiots! :)
I was considered an artsy-hippie-honors-nerd. Cuz I was an artist, and had hippie-style, and I was in all of those honors classes. Kinda like that chick in the movie She's All That, except I'm a dude.
I was the smart-ass-motor-head-hanging-out-with-the-stoner crowd guy who never took high school seriously (how could anyone really with it's social cliques, teachers who though they were God's gift and befuddled office staff?). If you were one of my bud's, you were a friend for life; screw me over and I was ingeniously evil in my revenge. I was also famous for the various pranks I could dream up, some of which were posted on an April Fools Day thread from 2005 on this board...

Hmmm....
also all over the place....
"post-hippie" VERY political activist (vocal) type, add in honors, foreign language oriented (actually WAS an exchange student to French speaking Switzerland), with a bit of metal-head, teachers' pet, closet-stoner, and "good little Catholic girl".

Well I'm one of those people who never fit in. EVER. And not on purpose either. I'm smart, but not a nerd, not really a jock, but I like sports. Anyway I've figured it out: too uncool to be with the popular crowd and to popular to hang out with the losers.

I didnt fit in to just one stereotype group. I played sports but also hung around with the comic book geeks. I also hung around with the academic students and participated in academic decathalons but then I would hang around with the "cool" people that didnt care about sports or academics.

Yeah i suppose almost everyone is more of a mix. But that's cool, in fact much better. You get to know more people.

I'm still in highschool!
I'm thought to be a brain, crammer ( and how it can be replaced in other words) what actually isn't true.( I just prefer the humanities) It makes me annoyed when someone ask me question about something then I say: I don't know and he or she replied: You? How can it be. You always do. Maybe there is nothing bad in that the rest of class think you are smarter. clever and more inteligent then they are ( ok stop it you freaking egoist)
What is the best I have fun of their poor knowledge.

High school was tough for me because I fit into no particular group.
I didn't fit in with the jocks because I was a stoner.
I didn't fit in with the stoners because I was on the football team.
I didn't fit in with the cowboys because I was into hard rock music.
I didn't fit in with the rockers because I owned horses and sometimes wore a cowboy hat.

I never fit in with the cowboys either. Of course, that could have been because I lived in Detroit and there were no cowboys.

I used to skate (board) in hig school so some people wer turned off by that aspect, but I did go from clique to clique because I knew many people. I did not like to be pidgeon holed into any group, so I wore suit coats and blazers with combat boots or steel toed shoes. I also liked to drive a motorcycle and jump dirt ramps with a motorcross bike too. I didn't drink or do drugs while in high school, so I never went to parties until late senoir year. Had a girlfriend that lived down the road from me so we would go out into the woods and "look for snakes", if you know what I mean. Heehee.

I was the only person in school who made any attempt to create an individual identity, and constantly got mocked for it. When I see people from school now, they all tell me how cool I am now.

I was a Book nerd, and a goody two-shoe's, I was also fast-tracking through school so I was by far the youngest student. I hated highschool, never ever wanted to go back.
Too bad I have been offered a job at my old school, and with the 30 doller's an hour, pay check I will probabley say yes.

Well, whenever I did show up to class I was the class-clown. Plus I was also a nerdy bookworm who never needed to show up to class to get good grades (how I wish College could be as easy as high school!).
The two most important things I remember about high school was,
1) all the classes some friends and I ditched so we could play some poker;
and 2) this time we did a prank of sorts. It was April fools day and we placed a metal rubbish bin up on top of a door. We were expecting a student to open the door and then wham! the bin would hit them on the head. Sadly the DP (deputy prinicipal) came through the door. The bin hit her square on the head. Let's just say she wasn't amused.

In high school, I was pretty popular, then I got kicked off the football team for failing grades and my life turned around. I was on the baseball team, the football team and track.

I was the guy who sat in the back of the room and said sarcastic, occasionally quite amusing things that made other students laugh but made most teachers get annoyed (Hmmmm. Some things don't really change, do they?). Was able to blend with most social circles because of it.
I was also the absolute Jedi Master at exerting just enough energy to get the lowest possible A minus. I think I had three consecutive semesters in high school where the only non-A minus grade I got was an A in gym. Like ROTS noted, college presented something of a pain in the ass at first because actual effort was required.
Similar to ILF, I was the kid who sat around basically taking the piss out of everything, always with the humour [/zoidberg]. I was smart, and had no problems with schoolwork, I was into extra curricular stuff like sports team, choir and vocal groups, I helped out with charity stuff. I was also a punky kid with piercings and stupidly dyed hair, who didn't turn up for class and spent the afternoon in the bar playing snooker with the student teachers.
I was a one off :)

I think most people just got by hs trying to avoid being made fun, just trying to survive in a sense and do the things that you're passionate about.
