ChrisBerni has worked very hard to bring us an exclusive interview with Daniel Dae Kim. Please check it out:
www.lost-tv.com/exclusive...31105.html (http://www.lost-tv.com/exclusives/ddk031105.html)
Thanks to Chris! Feel free to email her and tell her how much it's appreciated!
Also, you will probably notice that Xander is in the process of redesigning the site. The new "look" will probably happen around the middle of the month. Thanks, Xander, it looks great!

Great interview, but a quick question?
Is the site going to be that blinding white background? The design looks great, but I will need shades to read it. :\
I love the new site design. I thought the white background and black text was easier to read than the green. Was kinda hoping the forum would go to the same colors.

That was a fantastic interview. Thanks so much Chris.
I like the site redesign as well. Incorporating the eye for the "O" in LOST was sweet.
On the background, it is indeed much easier to read, but I think a more neutral off-white shade would be even easier.
A pale cream say...?

Excellent interview,
He clarified a couple small mysteries and it was good to read about why Sun speaking English is such a "big" betrayal.
Liked the new design.

Thanks to you guys for giving me such great questions to ask - from Daniel too! :D He seemed quite impressed with them, and let me know he had to work on the answers in between takes, to get them back within a sensible amount of time! :lol It really shows. <3
Great interview, Chris!
I agree with Chance! A darker "white"!

I can't really do the darker white anymore, since the site design is pretty much set. But I'll keep that in mind next time we do a redesign.

Chris, the interview was most excellent! I really enjoyed reading Daniel's views about his character of Jin.
Xander, the new Lost-TV logo is really "eye catching". I love it!
Great work and kudos to you both! And Thanks to Daniel for agreeing to take time to "talk" to us.

What a fantastic interview Chris! Also, I can't believe you used my ...In Translation, synopsis "opening" in your piece. I feel honored. The interview was also very professional, I'm going to assume you've done this before. Superb questions too. To bad you couldn't get him to answer the one about the season finale.

CB: Quite a few Lost fans know you from 24. They would like to know if you'll be coming back as Agent Baker?
DDK: I would love to! I really enjoyed my time on 24. It was a great group of people, and like LOST, a very well written show. Of course, my allegiance now is to LOST, but if scheduling worked out, I'd be thrilled to make an appearance back at CTU.
They used my question!!! Also, good look, Xan. A little shocking at first (expecting green) but it definately works.

Thanks guys. It's your questions which make this such a good interview! :)
Hodge - your synopsis opening was too good to not use it! :D I did this once before - also with Daniel: www.danieldaekim.org/cbarticle.html (http://www.danieldaekim.org/cbarticle.html) - so I didn't feel too nervous this time, LOL!
Eso - many others here have mentioned noticing Daniel on 24, so I'm sure you weren't the only one who wanted to know this.
AF30 - yes IIRC his parents moved to the US when Daniel was two years old.

"They used my question!!!"
Mine too, although it's considerably less spastic when Christine asks it (which is definitely a plus):
CB: How difficult is it to pretend not to speak English? In other words, is it hard not being able to really react to anyone's lines? Or do you like that aspect of the character?
DDK: It's an interesting challenge. I first have to hear what's being said, determine how I'd react, THEN try to make choices that don't betray that I, as the actor, understand the lines. It takes a little extra work, but as with many things about this character, it's a unique opportunity.
I thought all of his answers were very thoughtful and well said, which was very nice since I can tell some of us spent a lot of time considering a question to ask him (I just kind of asked about what I'm studying right now, but others were really, really thoughtful.)
Oh, that interview totally made my day! And I think we'll get used to the bright factor of the new design, but IMO the white and cool new grapics are very sophisticated and I'm taking the site more seriously b/c of it. Go Xan and DDK!
