Hear hear!

He completly stole a few scenes in Romeo and Juliet and especially the death scene was amaaaaazing!

I was really excited when I found out that he had joined the cast! My thoughts were: "Woaw, they've got a big guy like him! This must be really good!"

ugh, I hated Revolutions! But that's not his fault :)

I think I saw that he was in Oz, too. I've never seen it, but it always got good reviews and such.

Glad to have him as part of the cast.

I've been so accustomed to seeing him as inmate-in-a-wheelchair Augustus Hill with long hair that it'll be interesting to see him with short hair and actually using his legs.

I should really take a look at "Oz" more often. I caught one episode, but it was too late at night to keep watching. :(

I loved Harold in Romeo and Juliet, which was the first role I saw him in. And he was good in the Matrix movies too. (I found the second one a disappointment, but the third one was better again, though it didn't reach the level of the first one.) Oz hasn't been on here so far, but it sounds very interesting, and I'm contemplating getting the US DVDs.

It's odd to see him with short hair now. :-)

I LOVED Harold Perrineau in OZ- a great series- I'm bummed out that it's over- Season 6 ended this spring. Also, I'm waiting for Season 4 to come out on DVD- anyone know when that's supposed to happen??

who did he play in Oz?

He was Augustus Hill. He had dredlocks and was in a wheelchair. He was the 'narrator' of the series. I was just watching OZ season 2 on DVD last nite- I miss that show, but LOST has much more compelling characters!

He was amazing on Oz as Augustus (even though they killed him off!) and I loved him in last two Matrix movies. I miss his locs -- I'm a total sucker for a dude with locs. But I'm glad to see him in such great role on "Lost." Can't wait to see the episode that focuses on him and Walt.

He was Link?! Ohhhhh I soo see it now!!! Wow I can't believe I was honestly that slow... hm I even think I remember seeing him credited under The Matrix but I couldn't remember who he could have been.

Well, the 5 or Six Harold Perrineau fans at this site ( Me included ) should be happy that we finally get to see the Background story of Michael and Walt.

Tonight's episode was pretty revealing! It explains some things... :)

I've always said Harold is a fantastic actor. When I saw R&J, I was thrilled to see him playing Mercutio, primarily because he had CLEARLY done Shakespeare before and knew how to get the job done.
I am going to be VERY unhappy if they kill him off.

I'm a fan of his from the HBO series, OZ. Man, he played the hell out of that role. Also, I loved him in both Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions.

I saw the 2nd Matrix film and left it saying "that kinda sucked but LInk was cool! Link carried that film for me!".
I said the same thing about Romeo and Juliet "Mericutio was *censored* awesome! He made that movie for me man!"
OK, I always thought Michael on Lost seemed cool.
But I was reading an article today on Harold Perrineau and it was like a light bulb went off in my mind and i started shrieking with laughter! I can't believe I've watched his episode twice (yesterday was a bad day so i needed twice the dosage of my weekly drug) and I didn't *get* it!
Wow, I feel soooooooo dumb and just excited right now! whoa dude! this guy;s amazing!
...
WHOA!
sorry. that's all I needed to say so I'll stop talking.

He is talented. More people should talk about him.

A movie that people here should check out, if they haven't already, is a great underrecognized film that Harold Perrineau Jr. did a few years ago called "A Day in Black and White", about Black and White race relations on a given day in New York City. I found it very informative and on the mark.
Even if at least one LOST fan manages to see it now, I'm sure they will appreciate Harold more than they do now....:)

I remember Harold on the movie, Women on Top, Who played Monica.
