In this article from tvguide.com, Harrold P. is asked if there will be any more Michael-centric episodes this year. He says no, but maybe next season there will be more (paraphrased). So, does this mean we can eliminate Michael as the character to die????

I don't think so. Not from just this source. It could merely mean that they haven't told him yet that he's getting killed off. And he assumes he'll be back next season.
(By the way, I don't think it will be Michael. But that's because clues seem to point in a different direction for me. jmo)

True, but I'm almost positive I read somewhere that Jorge Garcia said the cast has been told who will die and that nobody was freaking out about it. Harrold could've said that to throw people off, but hopefully he doesn't think that fast.

I don't think it's Michael that will die.
That said, Michael dying this season doesn't preclude him from coming back next season and doing a guest shot with flashback information. With Walt still around it would be a natural for a storyline.
But I still don't think it's Michael.
Except we have seen all of the Walts flashbacks that would include Michael, he wasn't a part of Walts life at all untill he picked him up before the doomed flight.
Granted we got 2 months or so unil the final episode, but it is interesting that if you eliminate those who the spoiler say it can't be and those who have given interviews and talk about the future on the show or the future on the show without the person who dies, it comes to four guys. Jack, Sawyer, Sayid and Bonne.

The flashbacks we saw left plenty of questions that need to be answered. Those flashbacks barely scratched the surface of their relationship and there will be more in future episodes.

I don't think Michael is the one to die. I've read that the character who perishes does so because someone who is trusted betrays the ill fated one.
I'm thinking Boone gets it because ever since Locke and Boone found the hatch, Locke has been constantly seen with Bonne. I don't think Locke would be hanging around with Boone in other circumstances. I mean Boone doesn't know how to hunt, not very outdoorsy, a pretty boy. Not really like Locke at all. He(Locke) knows something about the hatch and needs someone to run interference or something. Much like a patsie.
YOU'RE GOING DOWN BOONE-TANG
