Long time lurker on this thread, first time poster:
I apologise if this is all old news that I'm repeating. I just did a skim of everything that's been typed since last night, and didn't see it. I'm starting a new job today, but I wanted to get this info to you all to discuss!
Not only did Kimmel have a "Lost" segment on his program, but the local ABC affiliate (Los Angeles) had a segment on "The Secrets of Lost", with their entertainment reporter out on the island. Most of it was fluff, as you'd expect, but the actors were remarkably loose lipped! Here's what I can remember:
-They mentioned that while there was death tonight, the big one is coming up.
-Boone said something about a revelation in his story that will change everything; tied that comment into talking about the "nature and history of the island itself"
-Jack made a comment about a "string of very important numbers" in Hurley's episode (we know about that)
-Followed that up by saying to watch for a mechanical device in Hurley's backstory. Hurley says something about "watch for the TV within your TV. Wink wink, nudge nudge..."
-Michael said to watch what Walt does very carefully.
-Mention of an "unexpected complication" when they try to open the hatch.
-Fluff about will Sayid and Shannon get to have a love scene.
-Comments on skinny-dipping on the set. Jack says he's gotten Shannon, Hurley, Sawyer, I think Sayid to go nekkid with him so far, but that "everyone will eventually.
That's all I can remember. I wish I had gotten it on tape so I could be more accurate. No footage of future episodes, just interviews and scenes from last night. I'm kind of hoping someone else caught this to get what I missed.
I have also seen a floating quote that someone made Ethan evil….hmmmm
