Who do you think Sayid will hook up with?

It has been said Sayid will hook up romantically with one of the women on the island. Who do you think that will be.

Of the choices I went with Shannon becuase she appears to be the polar opposite of Sayid. The Sayid that we've seen on the island has for the most part tried to focus on what he can help with to insure the castaways survival. Shannon hasn't done a dang thing. I'm sure Sayid could teach her a thing or two - ;)

It'll be Danielle! They're kind of cut from the same wood... I definately could see something happening there.

I hadn't heard that about him hooking up with anyone. Interesting. He and Kate seem to have a lot of affection and respect for each other, but she seems so keen on Jack. Sayid and Danielle were fantastic together in Solitary, and I was hoping he'd stay with her for a few more episodes; I hadn't really thought of them romantically though. Danielle seems a lot older. I wonder if they'd put an older woman-younger man relationship on TV. I can't see him with Claire or Shannon.

I cant pair sayid with anyone above, theyre so not fittin for him they need someone with a good attitude, pretty and well someone who gets him , I like nadia though, but i think he could work around shannon, she's too lazy and bratty I dont know how she and sayid will cope, but hey if sh** doesnt work out he can always pair up with me lol

I thought that Danielle and Sayid made a small, but vital connection in their one episode together; they have a common thread of loss, and desparately searching for something/someone that they'll probably never find.

The only thing solidly against this theory is that Mira Furlan isn't listed as a guest star anytime soon that I've seen.


One thing in it's favor is that in real life, Naveen Andrews is life-partnered up with Barbara Hershey, a woman far senior to him in years. Sometimes writers or producers will use something from an actor's real life past and bring it into a production.....
