CHARLIE: Maybe it's where Claire was taken. Maybe she's there?

JACK: Maybe.

What's the deal with Claire's dream about the Black Rock that won't let her leave?

This thread works a bit like the episode thread, except now each participant can submit ONE proposed answer to this question. Microsoft Set To Increase Xbox LIVE Subscription Prices In November

Microsoft has announced that they�re getting ready to raise the prices of their Xbox Live Gold subscriptions in the United States, Canada, the UK, and Mexico. The price increase will take hold on November 1, 2010.

The company has decided to enlarge their price tag due to the fact that so much has been added to LIVE since its launch, and they feel their new prices are still fair for all users. Not all prices will be affected for the above-mentioned countries, such as the full year subscription for UK users, which will remain as is.

The specific price changes are as follows: for the U.S., one month will now cost you $9.99 instead of the previous $7.99; three months will run you $24.99 instead of the previous $19.99; twelve months will jump to $59.99 instead of $49.99. For the UK, the only price change is to your one month fee, which will now cost �5.99 instead of �4.99. In Canada, you too will only see a change to the one month price, growing from $8.99 to $9.99. Lastly, for Mexico, your only increase is on the twelve month subscription, which will jump from $499 pesos to $599 pesos.

In the announcement from Microsoft, here�s what they had to say:
Since launching Xbox LIVE in 2002 we have continually added more content and entertainment experiences for our members, while keeping the price the same. We�re confident that when the new pricing takes effect, an Xbox LIVE Gold membership will continue to offer the best value in the industry.

They do, however, offer all current members the chance to renew their subscriptions at the current prices before the change. You can also head here to find out when your current plan is ending.

I'm on the fence about trading in the regular seasons after I bought the complete collection. Even though the complete collection isn't built well it gave me all the episodes, the only thing stopping me is the box art of the regualr boxes. I'm curious to know what everyone else did.

"Jennifer Lopez is in the final stages of negotiations with "American Idol" -- and we're told it's all but a done deal and Jennifer will be the last critical link in the chain.

Sources connected to the negotiations tell TMZ ... contrary to some news reports ... there has been no drama and no diva demands. As one source puts it, "It's been typical negotiating."

We're told ... absent a last-minute snag (which is highly unlikely) ... the deal could be inked as early as next week.

"Idol" sources say producers believe Jennifer is the key to re-energizing the show.

Warehouse 13�s Relic Roundup: It�s a Backstory Bonanza!

It was one infodump after another on last night�s Warehouse 13, as Artie, H.G. Wells and Todd from the hardware store fleshed out their backstories. Why was Artie charged with treason? Why was H.G. Wells bronzed? And why does Todd always mope around like a kicked puppy with a speech impediment? (Mumbler!) Oh, there were answers � via a few emotionally charged monologues mingled with pleas for forgiveness. And there was also a surprising number of artifacts as torture devices, which were put to the test on our heroes. More painful than having to sit through their long, revelatory speeches? Let�s get to the roundup!

Artifact: Torquemada�s chain
Specifications: All the power of a Spanish Inquisition torture rack in one easy-to-manipulate chain. Prolonged use, however, depletes the wielder�s humanity. This was among the artifacts Artie traded to his Soviet Union contact in exchange for the release of political prisoners � a transaction that landed him with treason charges that were swiftly dispelled by Mrs. Frederic in exchange for Artie�s warehouse servitude. And now, we know. Thank you, infodump!
Covetability: Low. Though it does have the functionality of any old chain, it�d be a shame to slip up and dislocate every joint in another person�s body, which nearly happens when Artie gets strung up and tortured by an unimportant adversary. Luckily, H.G. Wells arrives just in time to be nearly frozen to death by�

Artifact: A chunk of the Titanic
Specifications: Blow across this plank of steamship and your opponent will slowly freeze to death. Fortunately for H.G., freezing can be reversed by clutching the artifact tightly.
Covetability: Medium. I�m just glad that, post near-death experience and admitting she had herself bronzed so she could fast-forward through time and perhaps save her murdered child, H.G. has been vetted by the Regents and made a warehouse agent. Anything that precipitates the friendlies between H.G. and Myka is a winner in my book.

Artifact: Charles II�s croquet balls
Specifications: �Imbued with the fury of a king,� explains Artie. You strike one against another and the transfer of inertia will cause one to ricochet endlessly.
Covetability: Low. Why was everything so dangerous in this episode?! Aside from nearly beheading Pete, this was a virtually meritless artifact.

Oh, and Todd, Claudia�s hardware store squeeze, returns long enough to explain, as he and Claudia circle each other win gun/Tesla drawn, that he�s in witness protection and he actually has to relocate. Everyone frowns for a second before remembering they liked Fargo better. Or at least I did.

If so, what are the pros and cons?

What is their customer service/maintenance like?

How big are the hard drives on their HD DVRs (like, how many hours in HD can you record)?

And do they have any OnDemand services for free (like regular broadcast channels, and HBO, etc., at least for those who subscribe to them)? I couldn't find any info about this at their website.

I'm getting sick of my cable company and am thinking of switching to satellite. DISH is the one I'm considering, and that is primarily because they are the only satellite company to offer AMC in HD (they just added it in August).

I'd just switch cable companies (provided they had AMC in HD), but the one I have is the only option here (monopoly contract with the city!), so my choices are either that or go to satellite.

Thanks in advance for any info/advice you guys can offer!

Art for an apartment?

I recently moved into an apartment and need some wall art/prints. I'm an adult now - so no posters. :D

What I have in my imagination are two things: black and white prints with a splash of color (think a black and white portrait, except the eyes are blue), and portraits of people laughing (which is an idea I've had for a LONG time, filling a home with portraits of people laughing).

Any help? Thanks.
