Orphan Black and Blue -- A Theory

If you've ever attempted to learn something new, like a craft, sport or job even, then you know your first attempt is not going to result in perfection. Oh, it might be good (each to our own talents) but it's not going to be as good a result as you will reach once you gain experience and additional knowledge.

So, I'm thinking the Orphan Black or Sarah Manning clone edition is not the only human cloning trials Leekie and Company have or are conducting. I think there are more editions. If it were me, I would at least want to clone a male specimen.

Leekie is too ambitious to limit the cloning experiment to one model and one model only. That in itself is poor science. Something could be fundamentally wrong with that single specimen. I think at some point we'll see an Orphan White or Orphan Blue/Green/Yellow/Red/Brown -- who knows how many others? Well, Leekie knows.

MIT Student Develops Groundbreaking Softwar

Cambridge, MA - Third year MIT student Aaron Pittman is in many ways your average college junior. He likes to hang out with his friends, lives in a dorm and stays active on campus; however, unlike your typical student, he has developed a cutting edge piece of software that is making professors, industry experts, as well as Fortune 500 companies, take notice.

The software in question is a surprisingly sophisticated AI program that has broken records for both memory overhead and accuracy in natural-language search,

"The problem with search is that the meanings of words are always changing" says Pittman. "Therefor you need to teach the computer to recognize the type of person searching, as well as the cultural status-quo, not just the search terms."

On CEO claims that Pittman has accomplished single-handedly what would have taken a large team a significant amount of time to accomplish.

A few things here. One is that Aaron created a Artificial Intelligence (AI).

If a AI can recognize and learn such things on a global scale then it would become exceedingly smart in a very short time. And if this is the type of AI that is in the Tower then in 15 years its way beyond us humans.

On a good not it would probably be ably to recognize what it considered threats and non threats. So perhaps while the Tower killed My.Austin perhaps it wont bother with Grace?

Another point is that the article portrays Aaron as a genius. Which if he created a AI in his third year of MIT all by himself then he is in the realm of Einstein smart.

If the program in the Tower was just copied/stolen from Googles computers then it would already know a lot about humans. By the time Randalls plan went into effect it probably already had a counter plan.

Randall or anyone got nowhere in 15 years because the AI limited what they could do. Now apparently it wants certain people to come to the tower. I think that the core group is being summoned to the Tower for some reason.

Perhaps the Tower needs some help? Wouldnt that be awesome if the Tower was on Charlies and companies side? Perhaps Randalls plan is so good that the Tower knows it needs help?

I propose a game. Similar to Where's Waldo. A rewatching of Doctor Who episodes from this season (and possibly all of them since Moffat took over and Matt Smith became the doctor) to find possible instances of The Doctor having met Clara before. I posted one such possible instance in the season finale episode thread and will copy it over here.
