I can see that pack coming in handy for many things, especially when going camping, but for what I need, it won't cut it unfortunately. Since I'm going to use it as a carry on for a rather long day of travel on a plane, I want easy access for various items, not to have to dig through looking for my book or something like that. I still may get it just because though.

I thought of it actually, but wanted something a little less manly...lol The one I'm looking at has a ton of pockets for various things, like a laptop, cell, ipod, etc. Though that one you linked me to is significantly cheaper, but about fifty bucks. Hmmm...maybe I'll get it just to have it.

I watched Follow The Leader last night, couldn't really see much about the pack either...and of course most of the episodes of S5 that I had saved on my PVR are GONE!!! I was going to watch Incident too, so I wasn't very happy. We bought a new HD TV on Sunday, so are getting a new PVR box...meaning I'm losing all of S5 so was going to watch some before it gets switched out on Wednesday so wanted to watch what I could before.

Anyway...I'm buying a new backpack for my trip in January, but decided that I didn't want all black. I'll just go with LL Bean I think, they're reliable, not overpriced and last for years.

The guy's name is Ed, um, Wardel and it focuses on him and his ordeal of 90+ days in the Yukon Territory, July through beginnin of October. It shows him around 35 days in at last epi. He is losing weight like crazy and is totally wiped out from that.
It is on Tuesdays at EST 9pm.

Hey there Sarge, have you caught the new show Alone In The Wild on Discovery? I know you are a Les Stroud, Bear Grylls fan so this might be up your alley, too. My husband is really happy to have a new survivalist show to watch. Says it makes him want to get his backpacking gear out and dusted off.
