Ok, i'm really curious. There haven't been very many basic concepts in M:TG that have been thrown out over the years. They combined instant and interrupt, but later replaced interrupt with something with something even better called Split Second.
The only things that i can remember that have been truly thrown away were Ante and Banding. Did you really stop playing over one or both of those?
I ask only out of curiosity. I promise there will be no judgement.
Hey Cat. Things are good, thanks. Been away from the boards most of the hiatus, checking only occasionally. Now I started watching FlashForward so am coming back more often to catch up. How are things with you and the forum?
Everything about the Who revamp is less uptight. From the writing staff to the actors and directors. They know that there is something inherently funny about a guy shooting through space and time in a police box stumbling upon mysteries and the like. The great thing is that they can still make you take all of that very seriously. I'm a big fan of Tom Baker, Pertwee, and Davison. I first saw Who when played by Sylvester McCoy, although on recent watches I despise that series. I don't really have a big problem with the Paul Mcgann Who stuff (although Eric Roberts ruined the movie). The subsequent radio plays and books with that Doctor were pretty good, though.
