About
More:
Sometimes life will surprise you. Starring Mandy Moore ("A Walk to Remember"), Milo Ventimiglia ("Heroes," "Gilmore Girls") and Sterling K. Brown ("The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story"), this refreshingly honest and provocative series follows a unique ensemble. As their paths cross and their life stories intertwine in curious ways, we find that several of them share the same birthday and so much more than anyone would expect. From the writer and directors of "Crazy, Stupid, Love" comes a smart, modern dramedy that will challenge your everyday presumptions about the people you think you know. source

I've actually been waiting for this one. There's been nothing but positive reviews of the series since it was picked up.

Normally, I myself would probably not watch (although it does look like an exceptional cast), but I'm intrigued by the shared birthdate and the other mysterious connections. I do love anything with a mystery. :D

Possibly, the best television script I've seen in a while. Along with great dialogue! :Hippy: :Cowdance:

I kept thinking, I've got to tell the Vincentstuntdbl#23 about this one. He's another one who enjoys great writing. Oh Dawg! :wolf:

Along with great writing, you're right Sandi, there's also a great cast.

I don't want to spoil anything about everyone sharing the same birthday. I will say, it has nothing to do with Sense8. :nanabobo:

This series just might have hooked me. :D

The first episode was excellent and I did not see that ending coming! Great twist!

2016 Emmy winner, Sterling Brown was excellent as was the rest of the cast. The episode followed four people and their stories which all came together in a beautiful twist. There were several scenes that had me running for the kleenex.

I wonder where they are going to go from here?

The scene where the Sterling Brown character confronted his biological father, got me. "See that car parked in front of your house? Well, it cost $140,000. I just wanted to tell you I don't want anything from you." The father says, "You want to come in?" The reply, "Yes!" That's when I needed a Kleenex, and it went on from there.

Oh, and I loved the over weight couple. I'm dying to know where their story goes from here.

The scene where Gerald McRaney -- the doctor -- tells the father about losing his first baby boy which is what caused him to follow his path of becoming a doctor and delivering babies, had me crying.
