The premise of this new series is the same as the recently cancelled, APB.

Hope it does better than the aforementioned.

Re: Wisdom of the Crowd - CBS Sunday

As I mentioned in my previous post, the premise of this series and A.P.B. are identical.

In A.P.B., the tech-billionaire lost a close friend when they stopped in to a liquor store together in a bad neighborhood. His friend was shot and killed by a a guy trying to rob the store. In this new series, the tech-billionaire's daughter was murdered.

In both instances, these billionaire's develop an app to help in the apprehension of these killers by asking for help from the public.

I kind'a liked this one a little better. Jefferey Tanner (Jeremy Piven) has left his company to pursue his daughter's killer. He's also got the police detective involved in the initial case assigned to this new venture.

In the Pilot, although he didn't catch the murderer of his daughter, he caught the raped and murderer of another young girl.

On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the best...I give Wisdom of the Crowd, 7.

I realize now why I like this series better than, A.P.B. :Hippy: :Cowdance:

In A.P.B., the guy who killed the Billionaire's BFF was caught in the Pilot episode. From that point on, we were dealing with a procedural series week in and week out.

In, Wisdom of the Crowd, granted it's only been two episodes, but we're nowhere near finding the guy who killed the Billionaire's daughter. So, we've still got an over-riding story arc.

It was shown in this episode, Jeffrey Tanner's BFF and COO of his company, knows about his affair with his colleague. He thinks it's a great idea. "You looked whole again."

In this episode, we have a young boy missing from school. It becomes knowledge that he's supplying answers to tests for his school mates. He's also charging an exorbitant amount for the answers.

Really loved this episode. :Hippy: :Cowdance: :10:

The "Machine" finds a link between 17 murder victims.

Jeffery finds out something about his dead daughter that tears at his heart.

The guy in prison for killing her, is shived by a so-called friend.

I'm assuming the "terms" regarding Social Media, are correct and feasible.

This was a unique episode, and the title really came into play.
