Nanites..

So from what we have seen Im guessing that there are more than one type of nanites.

These would be the power sucking replicating nanites

Im not sure what this one is. It looks like it has arms a pincers.

More:

This one seems to be the surgical type that cuts cancer cells out.

More:

This screen cap seems to show a hybrid nanite-biological connection of some sort. It seems to be highly advanced version. My guess from looking at brain cells and what not that this nanite has something to do with the human brain.

OR

The drawings look like viruses.

Either way there is a medical angle to Janets diagrams. Which is no surprise since her partner has cancer.

Re: Nanites..

Nice.
Maybe the nanites have taken on a sort of life of their own, and are making improved versions of themselves.
Maybe that's why Bass is turning into Dr. Evil. The nanites are revolting, and the Revolution in the show title doesn't refer to the little rebels attacking Monroe, but the eventual rise of the machines.

Re: Nanites..

Nice screens. So Grace's upside down helicopter is actually a nanite? Who would have ever guessed back in the second or third ep? lol.

Cross-quoting here to bring this discussion into the specific thread.

Vulnerable to bullets? Reprogram the nanites... An attribute of infinite capacity tends to dilute conflict within a drama, any problem that arises, fix it with the nanites. Those who control them win. There must be some inherent limitation to the nanites or else the conflict in this story is pretty much over. I like the concept of the universal remote/people cooker with exposed circuit board, infinite power but only as long as the circuits remain intact, you could destroy it by hitting it with a rock.
There have to be some limitations. I'm kinda glad that they're not rushing to flesh that out yet.

In the 1950s and 1960s, the popular answer to the Fermi Paradox was "nuclear weapons." In other words, the number of alien species surviving that point of their evolution at which nuclear weapons were discovered without resulting self annihilation was so small as to explain what, statistically speaking, should otherwise be a flood of alien cultures in "our" universe.

Today, the answer to the Paradox is nanites.

A interesting observation. But who created whom? Did we create the Nanites or did the Nanites create us?

I don't know. But I am pretty sure they like to ride elevators.
