Spoiler: notes
gift cards make great gifts both for shoppers who are lazy and/or have a lot of gifts to buy. They're also a shrewd choice if there are individuals in your life for whom it is difficult to shop. When bought through the astore, they also help support this site, which isn't self-sufficient and doesn't hold fund-raisers or any of that other crap.

Please consider doing at least some of your holiday shopping through our astore this year.

Hodge should be too busy weeping in his tea over his pick 'ems week to concern himself with our deliberations here...

Anyway, here's a line from another Hollywood-based story, one that has been filmed five times; twice in the thirties, once (most famously) in the fifties, once in the seventies, and now a new version to be released early next year. Both of the '30s editions were straight dramas; all the others have been (or will be) musicals. All have the same title except the earliest. This line comes from the 1937 and 1954 versions, although variations exist in all of them:

"Hello, everybody. This is Mrs. Norman Maine."

Mr Mo, she's completely evil with no redeeming qualities.

Mr Mo, have you noticed she just sidles by, gives the answer, then moves on. I just hate that!

Oh, by the way, this is from the movie, A Star is Born.

Try this one on for size.

L: You alright there, M****?
MG: Oh, I just think I'm gonna barf...
MG: [standing up again after a moment] ... Well, that passed. Now I'm hungry again.
