We made it. My pride suffered a bit though.

Hi LV. Can we call you Todd?

Wow, really?

The doc's said if he'd waited another week he'd have died. Now he has to be extra careful & make sure it heals well, so he doesn't lose the foot or more. Thankfully, that was a few weeks ago and it is healing well w/ no further signs of infection.
Yikes that sucks. Infection can be so serious.

Was he avoiding the hospital because he was afraid of surgery? Or did he just think he could avoid it?

Oh no. Sending healing thoughts.

Explanation given: Had <snip> to do. Taking care of the vehicle, multiple tows. I still can't see how. More to the story I'm sure, but confidentiality leads me to not look it up on YouTube. He said plenty of people put videos up.

Re: What's New/Grand Opening

Good morning.

I avoid the doctor as much as I possibly can, too.
and T is right, denial is a powerful thing, but sometimes it works. LOL

Az positive thoughts sent your mom's way. It is hard to be so far away when our loved ones are hurting.

On a positive note, I've learned a new way to utilize my numerous run away zucchini. You know those big lobsters hidden under the leaves that seem only proper to use in bread? Well I've got a peeler that creates strips, much like that veggetti spiralizer tool, only I just get long strips. My peeler works wonders on those big zucchinis.
So I strip it down to the seed area. Then I salt it and let it sit in the fridge in a covered glass bowl while the water is pulled from the veggie. Then I rinse and squeeze out more. Once that is finished I mix one egg in then pat it into a greased glass dish and pre-bake it at 350 for about 20 minutes. It creates a delicious crust that I add some frittata stuff to and bake again.
