Same time as Big Bang now....my guess is the wife is going to make Gotham a Hulu special for me.

Re: Gotham (FOX)

I liked it. I'll keep watching.
Introduced many of the characters before they become the villans that we know and love.
Shot beautifully.
slightly different take on Bruce and Alfred.

Well Done!

Re: Gotham (FOX)

It was alright. Seeing the villans before they were grown up was interesting as the interaction between Bruce and Alfred. It was a dark portrayal that seemed contemporary with the Batman movie darkness.
I do believe it was the Joker on stage in front of Fish.

I may or may not continue to watch this show. It's alright.

The episode was meh but I liked both lead characters. Actually, I thought the acting was very good overall. Can't go wrong with Donal Logue.

Re: Gotham (FOX)

I thought this was pretty good, the cast, writing, cinematography are all really first rate. But the Batman mythos, again? It seems like the ominous foreshadowing of future identities being revealed could get stale quick, but I thought they did get off to a surprisingly good start.

Re: Gotham (FOX)

I really enjoyed it. I thought the choice of actors was well done, right away you knew who was who. To see how they become who they are is going to be quite interesting assuming they can stay on story lines. If they veer from lore too much I will be disappointed.

Re: Gotham (FOX)

Penguin seemed to have perpetual bloody nose. Jim Gordon was acted quite well as was Fish. It all had a real fell of a graphic novel come to life.

But like Cmdr Spock,I feel the Batman mythos again is worn. It could get old quite fast if there are not any surprises or changes to give interest to this old story.

Re: Gotham (FOX)

I love the casting of virtually everyone.
Catwoman was a witness to the Wayne shooting? New twist. Loved it.
Riddler as a CSI was brilliant, and the connecting of the dots of the various characters in Gotham this early in the run was fantastic.
Still early, but I'm hooked, lined, and sunkered.

Oh yeah -

Spoiler: My guess for the Wayne killer

The Wayne murderer? Richard Kind (the Mayor of Gotham). I didn't even know he was on the show, but when I saw the murder scene (the way it was filmed reminded me of Batman #404, one of my favorites), and all they showed was the eyes, I looked at my lady and said, "Hey, isn't that the fat guy from Spin City?" She had no clue what I was talking about, but almost on cue, the Mayor was spouting off about how they would "Find the killers" on the news. Now, they seem to be changing everyone's origin stories a little, is Richard Kind going to play the Joker? Crazy.

Re: Gotham (FOX)

Certainly a different take on the Barbara Gordon character. Different from the Yvonne Craig Barbara I mean.
