Re: What are you reading?

Oh, a small caveat on Pillars of the Earth: there's a lot of rape.

Re: What are you reading?

One sure way to get me to read something--
Literally have it mailed to my house.

So, Echo has pushed me into these Thomas Covenant books. Starting first one now.

Re: What are you reading?

I'm reading The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton and listening to We Were the Lucky Ones which is just not as interesting as it should be.

Re: What are you reading?

I'm reading Lilac Girls. So far, so good. I think I'm on page 20...or something.

I was in Barnes and Noble yesterday looking for more books...I already have like 5 to read. But I want more. And more. And more.

I was about to get your address to mail you something, since I can't mail it to the school anymore.

And I just started The Name of the Wind.

Re: What are you reading?

I probably won't start my own thread because I plan on reading the crap out of it next week on the tree farm with no internet.

Although I was wondering about age appropriateness because this potentially seems like a book the rest of the family might like. Without getting into too much detail, would I be able to read it with Gabriel without worry about too much sexxy fun times showing up down the road?

Book 1, yes. There is flirtiness and teenagers being attracted to each other, but no sex, if I recall correctly.

Book 2, um, no. LOL. There's about 500 pages of sex in book 2.

Re: What are you reading?

Mina, oh Mina...if you don't wanna do a first read thread, would you consider writing a review and posting it to the review subforum? ::trying my hand at begging puppy eyes::
