^ This, although for me it's "Istanbul Not Constantinople," a song I love. I told my hub about 9mile's post this morning -- that it just made me feel better to think of her playing that song on the ukelele. 9mile, you posted a video of you and your ukelele class (I think) performing, but iirc it was a different song (took a quick look through some previous posts but haven't found it yet). If you ever have video of you guys playing "Istanbul," would love to see it (if you're comfortable w/it).

I've posted before that one of my all-time favorite things on the planet is Craig Ferguson's rendition. It expresses my view of life.

Weird Al music is so greatly funny. Love his takes on the songs. It practically rivals my misunderstanding of lyrics.
Great song here

Why is that song played so insanely fast? The Four Lads sing it slower. Have you ever tried to say those words that fast? Oi.

Re: What Song is Stuck in your head?

Noah Cyrus did a very fast acapella version of her hit Stay Together for an MTV ad that's part of a series of adverts highlighting young up-and-coming talent called Who To Watch For. The advert series mostly annoys me, and would do so even if its title didn't end with a preposition.

However, this particular version of this particular song is cool and catchy and different and interesting.

I can't find video of it anywhere on teh interwebs, Youtube has a bunch of different iterations of her performing the song live, the official video, and even at least a couple different remixes. Here is one the of the remixes. It almost didn't make me rip my own scalp off in frustration that not only could i not find the version that i wanted - i couldn't find a version even remotely like the version i wanted. But anyway this remix is okay i guess, and if you ever see her doing the whole song acapella at about 8 times the speed she sings with here, please embed or at least post a link, thanks.

Creep

Zaph, You have spoiled me, sinfully by first posting the Post Modern Jukebox hit sung by this woman of "7 Nation Army" and I have been hopelessly in love with this group ever since. Not all their music I like, but the majority of unusual takes are delightful

Concur. Haley Reinhart makes life worth enduring, especially with those heels she's wearing in "All About That Bass."
