Re: Game *Name That Tune*

I better have some clues, no ones getting this one.

I can't seem to face up to the facts
I'm tense and nervous and I can't relax
I can't sleep 'cause my bed's on fire
Don't touch me I'm a real live wire

It isn't me
We have some seed
Let me clip
Your dirty wings
Let me take a ride
Don't cut yourself
I want some help
To please myself
I've got some rope
You have been told
I promise you
I have been true
Let me take a ride
Don't cut yourself
I want some help
To please myself

That's Nirvana, one of the later track from Nevermind. On A Plane?

Re: Game *Name That Tune*

correct Nirvana, but not 'on a plane'.

Re: Game *Name That Tune*

I know that album pretty well, i was 17 and very interested in "underground music" at the time. I even had a bootleg version of Bleach, and had been listening to NIN for years already.. It's been many years since then, though.

It seems to fit On A Plane really well, and i'm sure it's not an early track. Polly maybe?

Re: Game *Name That Tune*

Oh boy. Now i have to come up with one. So far i've gone too obscure or too obvious. This was a big hit, but maybe these particular lyrics will prove at least a little challenging...

I get up in the evening
And I ain't got nothing to say
I come home in the morning
I go to bed feeling the same way
