Neither vote was close...

I didn't dislike Ciera that much but not a fave... she tried too hard too quickly and failed at a challenge where she was the only one who had done that puzzle before.

What was amazing was how Sandra was able to get Malcolm and Caleb to turn on Tony.

Re: Survivor 34: Game Changers

I wish Sandra would shut her trap and quit calling herself the queen.

To me, the biggest game-changer is Pavarti. She ruled everything she touched. She's the almighty QUEEN, nay, EMPRESS OF THE UNIVERSE!

I think Cirie is setting her own trap, too. There she is, running around to everybody, trying to convince them into an alliance?

This is not a newbie game. They'll figure out her tactic.

And, as the lonely old lady that I am, I sure would like it if Malcolm would stick around for a long time.

Re: Survivor 34: Game Changers

Make no mistake about it, Sandra is Queen of this game.

She's a returning two-time winner (who has only played twice), and her tribe LOST THE FIRST TWO IMMUNITIES. And as the weakest physical threat, she wasn't voted off.

I forgot how much of a joy it is watching her in her element. Like she said, it really does come effortless to her. That's how she's made $2 million for 78 days of work.

Decided to watch this season after being away for several seasons. Looks like a good group, tho I will miss Tony acting like a goofball.

In all seriousness, I believe it is truly scary that he's a police officer.

Re: Survivor 34: Game Changers

And I hate that they put Cirie against Ozzy. With their history, it seems intentional. She deserves better, probably the second-best social player the game has ever seen, after Sandra.

For comparison, look at Debbie flipping out thinking she's so much better at reading people than she really is (when Cirie was being honest with her), as compared to Cirie accurately reading Tai. Cirie will confront you to your face and then read your face. Debbie just think she knows.

Re: Survivor 34: Game Changers

Sandra and Cirie seem to really have the mental game down, so that balances out their lack of physical dominance. Tai is flying under the radar, no threat to anybody - ditto Zeke too. Oz, Malcolm and Caleb have the physical dominance but probably not quite as cagey/scheming as Sandra and Cirie. The other gals I am not familiar with, so no real opinion yet (tho cop has a pretty high opinion of her own skills.)

That snake challenge looked brutal - I can't imagine trying to move a giant 400 pound wet canvas bag up a beach.

lol oh yeah -Tony's spy bunker - ummm a bunker is a small room, not just a pit with a pile of leaves. That totally looked like a 9 year old's leaf fort.

Re: Survivor 34: Game Changers

I'm highly (well, not really) amused that you, especially Mattie, think so highly of Sandra's and Cirie's social game. They stink to me.

It seems intentional?

That has to be the Captain Obvious comment of the day. Of course it's intentional, and I'm not sure "she deserves better" really makes any sense.

A big part of the show is about pitting people against one another, especially when they bring in people who played together in previous seasons. The producers thought all along about those two pitted against one another from the moment they were cast. I don't think anyone really
deserves anything regarding what tribe they are on or who else is playing
the same season they are..
