Thank you - I was beginning to think I was the only one that could see this (that would not be a good thing).

Yung - the preview is from this summer - it's the one that says "they're not the survivors" emphasis on "not" - "they're not the survivors, they think they are"
Anyway, this is the best I could do with my new graphics program which is driving me crazy (I will learn it eventually).

If I remember correctly, there was a "freakish" high tide that swept part of the wreckage and lugage out to sea in season 1. I seem to recall the quote "I have never seen a tide come in so fast."

So far there has been no tie to this event - possibly this will be it. If the tide can come in fast, it can go out fast - and make landbridges to other islands. I have thought for a while that Walts wetness could indicate he was in a water chamber to enhance his psychic signal. But he could just have gotten wet entering an underwater - or partially underwater - hatch.

You could also look at it this way - why genetically engineer a shark with a logo unless you have a window in your office you can watch them from. An office in your underwater command center.

Maybe Hanso wanted to be Dr. No.

I think that was a mechanical shark. When Michael paddled over it (after it had been shot) red light was shining upward (out of the water) onto Michael.

I said somewhere before that modern scientists are using "natural based artificial propulsion systems. So Dharma's submarine doesn't use a propeller but the natural movement of the shark's fin to move.

It was during the early part of S1 when the fuselage was being pulled out to sea by the tide.

on this note. in the movie star trek, the voyage home..

they use remote control whales to film the whale scenes.
they even kinda swam like whales, using their tails etc..

this tech with Dharma... hmmm..
but we did see blood.
