This will probably shock alot of you...
I have seen 103 PHISH shows.
The first in the summer of 93, the last (and I mean last, cause they broke up for good now) in Aug a year ago in Vermont. This included the entire Summer 95 run from Boise, Idaho to Sugarbush Ski Resort in Fayston, Vermont (22 shows in 27 days), and every NYE run since 94. Other notable shows would be: the return from the hiatus, NYE at MSG where I bought a fake ticket and bribed the ticket scanner guy $100 to get in (TOTALLY worth it, btw); the festival shows: (75,000 people at least at each) The Clifford Ball - considered to be the finest Phish shows ever, The Great Went, Lemonwheel, Oswego, Big Cypress for the millenium NYE show where they played nonstop from midnight til about 7:45am, IT, and Coventry (the last show)
I have SOOO many stories from my experiences seeing Phish, I simply can't post them all!!

I have also seen the Grateful Dead's last run at Boston Garden (6 nights in 7 days)

Other notables:
The Guitar Trio (John McLaughlin, Al DiMiola, Paco DeLucia) at Symphony Hall in Boston
Pink Floyd
The Rolling Stones
The Who
Van Halen
Metallica
Phil Lesh and Friends
The HORDE tour (founded by John Popper of Blues Traveller)
Jethro Tull
Michael Ray and the Cosmic Crewe
Medeski Martin and Wood
Bela Fleck and the Flecktones
The Dead (post Garcia)
Trey Anastasio (post Phish)
Lollapalooza at JFK site (Tool, Rage, Fishbone,Alice in Chains, Primus)
Steve Miller
and I think the 1st concert I EVER saw was The Monkees.

I know that was alot. But I'm a musician, and I LOVE music!!

Peace,
Truff

^ >: OMG!!!! LUCKY!!!!

Truffula, The Who? Van Halen? Those must have been awesome! I wish I was there.

Has anybody seen Hootie and the Blowfish? I never did. I just find it weird no one has mentioned them considering they were pretty big a little while ago.

Stevie Nicks....mmmmm....Stevie Nicks! I wish I could have seen Fleetwood Mac in concert or even Stevie at some point! Somehow that's yet another fanbus I caught too late. Young and stupid I suppose, but if they, or she, ever come anywhere near me, I'll rectify that problem! :lol

I would give my right arm to go back in time and see Nirvana (see my signature, lol)!!!

I have bought tickets for the Rolling Stones in October! It will rock verily. I also bought tickets for Foo Fighters coming up. Oh yeah, also Coldplay. I can't wait!

EGIVM -
Just to clarify, not to take anything away from the fierceness of these shows....but, The Who show was right after Entwhistle died (Pino Paladino on bass instead), and the Van Halen was 1 show of Van Hagar, and 1 show that I won free tickets for (for dressing up like Eddie Van Halen's guitar) with Gary :x Cherone.

IMHO - Hootie and the Blowfish was one of the WORST things to ever happen to the music industry. This was MTV proving that they could put whatever crap they wanted together to popularize a band and it would work, no matter how crappy the product. And that trend still continues to this day.
I don't need to name names. You all know who I'm talking about.

Also, wanted to add a few cool ones I forgot:

Maceo Parker
David Grisman Quintet
The Slip
The Miracle Orchestra
Aquarium Rescue Unit (not with Col. Bruce)
Blivit

If yal don't recognize some of these bands you should Google them and see what you can see. They're all REALLY good.
