Re: How to Get Away with Murder (ABC)

watched both available episodes and I really like this show. what I like most is the juggling with chronology. one thing that creates is an interesting slow-burn reveal of details between now and then, or is it then and now? viola davis is great. the supporting network rather good as well. nice sex acts between various people. nice fake American accent by the ex HP guy.

So maybe never mind my sig. Unless the decision is reversed again. So Moonlight won. Not LaLaLand. But LaLaLand was announced first. What a ridiculous embarrassment. Wait! Are you sure the Russians didn't hack the Oscars????

More:
the final quote from this article on why moonlight won't win best picture and why perhaps that's fine is particularly moving.

http://www.nbcnews.com/feature/nbc-o...e-s-ok-n725616

Chiron has no "white savior" in his life. He only has himself. Ultimately, that is enough. Perhaps the lesson here is not to make the Academy "Moonlight's" white savior, but to own it and treasure it as the classic it is on its own terms. Academy Award or no Academy Award, "Moonlight" is ours. It is already a treasure, so there's no need for it to bring home the gold.

BA, I'm really curious now.

Remember the opening scenes? Michaela, the young African-American girl, has lost it. She's blaming everybody including Prof. Keating for setting them up. Is she closer to the truth than she thinks?

About the predicament they find themselves. I got the impression, Prof. Keating got them involved in the death of her husband, because that was her plan from the beginning. Did she find the perfect four students to bring onboard? Did she know from the start, these were the students she could manipulate?

As the episode continued, we also realized she suspects her husband of having an affair with the student found dead in the water tower. And, he knew she suspected him. She's probably caught him on several occasions in inappropriate situations with female students.

Now, near the end of the episode, after rechecking his phone, she finds out he deleted all of her messages. This is when she goes over to Nate's house. Is she giving herself a plausible reason to kill him. Did she convince Nate she's scared he may've killed the student?

Then at the end of the episode, Wes finds a phone under the floorboards of his bathroom sink. Did the girl that he saw being escorted down the stairs by police leave it there, or was that the phone he uses to call the girl he met at the motel?

There's a lot of stuff happening in this series, as you can tell, I'm having a tough time keeping things separate. I probably need a program.

Man, that was cold. Nate told her he was innocent, just to get her to leave him alone!

I'm not sure deciding to marry a future politician, whose skeletons were tripped over instead of need to be unburied, is such a great idea. Vera Wang better be worth it.

He saw the way she treated him on the witness stand. She outed him just to win a case.

I've got a funny feeling he's going to continue looking into her husband. As you mentioned, Nate lied to her about his alibi. He had none.

Jj, we know she's only after keeping or having a great life. I get the impression she wants to be a lawyer to help in that concern, not to help people in trouble.

Re: How to Get Away with Murder (ABC)

New episode last night.

And what an episode!

Wes' neighbor, who was arrested last episode for murder, recanted her confession. The problem, the D.A. refused to give the Defense a copy of the confession. After going back-and-forth for half the episode, they finally get a copy. The video proves she was coerced, and with that information, the judge lowers her bail, and she's let out of jail.

Annalise gets her employee, Bonnie, to follow Sam (her husband) around to see what he's up to. While doing this, she notices Nate looking around Sam's car. I think she realizes he's still on the case.

While all of this is going on, Keating & Assoc. has another case. This is a friend of Annalise, the owner of a stock brokerage firm, who's been accused of insider trading. Annalise gets the students to dig into Marren's employees, looking for the traitor. Connor finds a gay guy in the company, seduces him, plants a wireless tape recorder, and finds out he's the culprit.

Marren Trudeau (Elizabeth Perkins), confronts the guy who jumps out of a 30th floor window, killing himself. They also find the guys accomplices who also work in the firm.

We also delve deeper into the backstory of the killing. The one the students are somehow involved. I'm still trying to figure out what went on, and I have to admit, that's a lot of fun. Did they kill Annalise's husband or are they helping her hide the murder.

The most mind-blowing thing in the episode was Annalise Keating removing her makeup at the end of the evening. This also included the wig. Unbelievable!

Re: How to Get Away with Murder (ABC)

I've said this before, but Annalise's female assistant slept with her husband too.

Let me know when you're caught up Lawboy, I'd like to know your opinion about the series internal murder.
