I don't even remember half the stuff they are tying up ends for. I wish the show could have run a comp episode to remind us of what was going on. HW, oh yeah Hadrian's Wall, BC, who did what to who? It's been a long time.

I was very disappointed in this episode. Nothing will be the same as things. Was Renard's phantom injuries ever explained yet? I can't remember?

That sliver of wood, that magic wand, I keep thinking it is from the Cross of Christ and Christ will turn out to be a wesen who started the whole this.

While each character is really good and acted well, I feel thePTB have gotten tired of this show and just want it done so they are writing like <snip>

Re: Grimm S06E01 "Fugitive"

I liked the episode. I'm upset because it's the beginning of the end --

Renard is going after Nick full tilt. He's so determined, he seems like he's lost his mind and maybe he has. We know when he had the coins in his possession how much he coveted power and position. Now that his political aspirations are finally getting somewhere, maybe his true nature is too much for him to control and hide?

I too thought the stick was a piece of the Cross, but now, with what happened to Eve, I'm beginning to think it's dark magic and not something pure and good.

Speaking of Eve -- she's gone. The stick healed her and is continuing to do so, IMO. I think she's becoming Juliette again and it won't be long before all her power is gone. That's a shame because she was more interesting as Eve. Time to think of another way to kill Juliette.

Am I the only one that wants Nick to wind up with Adalind?

Back to Renard -- now that his fingerprints have been found all over the dead woman's place, his credibility will further suffer. He's a murder suspect and it looks like he's pulling out all the stops to kill someone who may know that. (Not the case but still.)

My only problem with this show is that they created such a huge, vast mythology, but they are really going to struggle to pull it together in a mere 12 more episodes. I hope they are able to, though. I do not expect any ending as the wesen have been around for centuries, and think they continue to. I just want a good resolution in Portland for our crew.

I did like this episode. I liked it picked up where the season ended. It made sense.

I fully expect Renard and Juliette to die by seasons end. Maybe one other. Trubel?

I hope you're right!

I don't know about Trubel -- maybe.

I can't imagine how they are going to wrap up Diana. She's a scary little girl -- even Adalind is afraid of crossing her. I don't see any "happily ever after" without addressing her power and what that could mean.

The stick shard seems to have limited Eve's powers. I think it will for Diana as well. Which would be great.

I hope you're right but it would kick out my theory on that.

Diana was born with her powers while Eve fell victim and as a result became a hexenbiest. I'm thinking the stick cured her injury and anything else that wasn't natural to her.

As do I with regards to the bolds.

It worries me that Adalind is afraid to discipline her daughter. Discipline is not a bad thing, but a limiting of choices on has to choose from. This form of discipline teaches a child how to behave as an adult. With Diana being so free to do as she will, then her parents, or Nick and her mom are screwed by a child so willful and strong.

Maybe Kelly (the mom and now grandma) will somehow return and save the day as she was to teach Diana how to behave.
