You know ZoW, I'm looking forward to a more intense glimpse into her life as a human in a Vulcan "test tube".

She mentioned something about her relationship with Spock and his mother growing up. Remembering she was also human.

I agree with you regarding what she did to her captain. Wasn't that the Vulcan "death-grip"?

Without a doubt, she committed treason, but as she said to Capt. Georgiou. "I was trying to save your life, along with every member of the crew."

I'm trying to imagine that title for a ST:TNG episode. Not working lol.

Re: Star Trek: Discovery - CBS/All Access Sunday

ok, this was a better episode for me. I'm really liking Doug Jones' character, reminds me so much of Abe Sapien.

Isaac's american accent keeps throwing me tho, it just sounds wrong coming from his face.

Spoiler: read after watching
Well the Discovery really seems to be of an 'end justifies the means' mentality. Anyone bothering to check to see if any damage is being done each time they use spore-kitty? Eh doesn't matter, it doesn't really have a face. Gotta save that dilithium (oh and yeah, I suppose the miners too.) I guess we don't have the prime directive yet, or even a bit of care for other unknown species yet.

This is awful, but I can't watch the Klingon scenes if they are talking.
It's too slow and sounds just like talking thru a football mouthguard. I'm sure it's quite dramatic, just too dang slow and distracting.

I've got this one primed, just haven't seen it yet.

But, with this recommendation, I can't wait.

Notice my new sig?

Re: Star Trek: Discovery - CBS/All Access Sunday

it won't disappoint Hodge.

yep, excellent sig. I do have a quibble, the bridge seems like really dark to me - I like a well lit bridge like TOS or the Trek movies. It feels like half the bridge fluorescents are burnt out

FF, while typing the title I immediately thought of the movie, Silence of the Lambs. "Well, Clarice - have the lambs stopped screaming?"

I wonder if Bryan fuller, who made TV's hannibal, came up with the title and outline before leaving as showrunner.
