Re: Woody's: One anti-inflammatory from blowing up!

Hi Kids. This week, I finally have a little peace and quiet. My daughter finished her musical theater camp so I don't have to go back and forth twice a day to her studio which is 35 minutes away. Also, Hannah got her jeep back, so I don't have to drive her around either. School starts two weeks from today and I'm not ready. I know I shouldn't complain since we had 9 or 10 weeks off, but now the back to school anxiety and dreams start.

Today's task: Cleaning the laundry room, which is essentially, the dumping ground for everything that doesn't have a home. I've been wanting to clean it out for MONTHS (like 9 months). It was one of my goals to get it done this summer and after putting it off for the past 7 weeks, I figure I better do it or I'll be pissed at myself for blowing it off.

Oh yeah, Ari certainly looked awesome as that...... grouchy bug. I forget exactly which variety though.

How many years have you been working in the school system?

My chores today are to take care of all that produce from the garden. I did, but not the zuchinni's yet. Put up 9 packages of green beans and made a jar of pesto. The older I get the harder the job it is to take care of the garden stuff. But send me to the gym and I can go and go there. Chores just tire me out.

My kombucha is getting to be too much so I'm killing off a couple of my SCOBY's.

She was the centipede. I've been working for the school for almost 10 years! I just might be able to retire in another 20.

I love kombucha! I tried one that was a green kombucha...it had algae and something else in it. It smelled like a dirty fish tank. I don't think I will get that one again.

Re: Woody's: One anti-inflammatory from blowing up!

Hi ya'all. I had the day off today so I ran errands and fixed a few breakfast meals ahead for the week.

James and the Giant Peach was a favorite for my boys when they were growing up. ☆♡☆
All the harvesting talk makes me hungry for fresh veggies!

I got a call from our school district a few weeks ago to work at a lunchroom. The school they wanted me to go to, however, is not on the bus line so I had to say no. Darn it.

I was gonna say centipede, but stopped because I wasn't sure.

Those floaters in kombucha are not appetizing at all. But that green one is supposed to be full of all sorts of energizing and good stuff. Yeah, possibly you'd get some get up and go but to the bathroom.

You'd be a great lunch lady. You have the right personality to get those kiddos to listen to you.
I've got to do some running around now, but I don't want to.
*struggling with when to go*
