Re: NFL Thread Pt. II

Philadelphia on fire. Let's see how they do with that weird three game road trip at Seattle then at LA Rams and finally at NYG. If they win 2 of 3 I'm with the Eagles. If they win 3 of 3 I'm with the Eagles over everyone else in the NFL. Minnesota and New Orleans are having good years but...

I think the winner between the Patriots and the Steelers in week 15 will probably win the AFC. I like that the Jaguars and the Titans are playing better in a division that's lately been so so bad. Jags probably have the advantage.

Re: NFL Thread Pt. II

I didn't expect much from last night's game. The Eagles humiliated my 'Boys. 37-9!

With Pro Bowl LB, Sean Lee, Pro Bowl T, Tyron Smith, Pro Bowl/Rookie of the Year, Zeke Elliot, out not a lot was expected.

This should actually be it for Dallas. They're 4.5 games behind the Eagles, and it doesn't look like they can win enough games to get them in the wild-card weekend.

The only positive thing about this weekend...

Re: NFL Thread Pt. II

ditto our Broncos. we already let our offensive coordinator go, and I'll be surprised if HC Vance Joseph makes it thru the week. I wouldn't mind seeing the Eagles in the bowl.

Re: NFL Thread Pt. II

The Saints stumbled through most of their game Sunday, but posted a comeback for the ages. Tough to see them playing poorly at home, but great that they got it together in time - that gives me more confidence in the coaching staff than i've had in at least a few years. Also, the Redskins won't be a playoff team this year, but i feel like this game shows yet again that no game in the NFL is ever a gimme. Unless you're hosting the Browns, i guess (with apologies to our Cleveland guys for the unnecessary cheap shot).

I want to believe in this Saints team so hard. I feel like the franchise has continually put a great product on the field for many years now, even though the last three years have each produced a 7-9 record. I don't understand why it suddenly seems to be clicking now, but i'm not complaining. I hope they can keep winning. They have The Rams next week; then Carolina; and still have both games left against Atlanta.

Along with the coaching staff, it gives me a lot of confidence in the whole Team.

Realizing things are getting out of hand, and realizing again, we've got to do something. Then having the wherewithal to do just that, tells a lot about a Team.

Well, since my 'Boys will be out of the playoffs in a couple of weeks, I hope you got some room on the bandwagon, Mr Mo?

Always room for you Hodge! If Mrs. Hodge won't let you sit next to her, we'll make room over here!

Mr Mo, I'll probably have to take you up on your offer. She's an evil woman.

With the 'Boys going by the wayside, the only thing she offers is condolences.

Re: NFL Thread Pt. II

I feel your pain, Hodge. Mrs. Mo has never seemed so interested in basketball as this year.

WOW, nice ending to the Steelers-Packers game. I love endings like that.
