Re: The Random Question Thread

I think it's a theoretical competition thing. With Bottlenose Dolphins, maybe.

Why are pack foils of Student of Elements cheaper than the regular card, yet still harder to find?

When bought through the astore, they also help support this site, which isn't self-sufficient and doesn't hold fund-raisers or any of that other crap.

For max profit of course. Flood the market with the more expensive item and hoard the cheep ones. The American way to make $$$$$

Why does licking a stamp taste better than licking an envelope?

Where are you finding stamps you still have to lick?

How did octopi manage to evolve into being so smart?

Its 8 legs helped make it 8 times smarter 8 days faster!!

Re: The Random Question Thread

The same reason they don't call bathrooms bathrooms, they call them loo's. And we call ours Johns sometimes. Both Loo and John are first names. Bizarre.

Why do they put babies on toilet paper packages? Babies use diapers, not tp.

Re: The Random Question Thread

The idea is that the TP is as soft as a baby's skin.

As for football, there's not just American-style and soccer. There's Aussie-style and rugby and probably a bunch of others too. I think we're the ones who should change the name of our sport to avoid confusion. Is "War-Ball" too catchy? Maybe "Concussion" or considering how often the rules change these days, "Calvinball."

Babies don't have soft skin, it's leathery and scaly - wait, was that just me? You all did eat your shell, right???

Do people still use Dayrunners/Dayplanners? I can't remember the last time I saw one.

Re: The Random Question Thread

Most people use their phones these days but last i knew you could still see them on the shelves at Staples. It's a perfect gift for the Luddite in your life.

When will deep brain stimulation be affordable for all?

Re: The Random Question Thread

January. Drop by the clinic and have your neural node installed, and you can jack into the system at your local convenience store. Or library.

Do you have let it linger? I'm such a fool for you.

Re: The Random Question Thread

A lingering drive-by is the way to go nowadays. Just ask the kids.

Why does one of the idiots at work want to change his name to a silly movie character?
